Hey hey, an open air with BBS alloys! Nice 👍🏻 :)

Why do you need to remove everything? That is a lot of work... It looks good.

You can remove the engine under tray and wing liners to check everything. You can see from below the car. You don't need to remove the wings and bonnet.

I would check inside the sills for corrosion. You need to remove the rubber bungs to have a look. If necessary, you can spray more wax inside when it is dry. 👍🏻

Thanks! I think it really look good! I want to remove some parts because I want to know my car perfectly...

Thats the most expensive reason to disassemble your car. You can apply to work at breakeryard for a day.

Ok! I will check the sills , but they are kitted out because they had rust. I will try to remove the engine when I will have enough time. How much do you think I could get for the rims?( not that I want to sell them, although I would love to have some BBS RS ) Thanks for all advice!

Hello, I disassembled the car a bit today and I have a few questions:

  1. I found some oil at the air filter, but I heard that this oil reaches there through the EGR because of worn piston rings. Should I be concerned or not?

  2. If I have a broken clip on the front grille, how can I replace it? For now, I glued it with a hot glue gun.

  3. I closed the sunroof manually with a special Allen wrench in the interior light. I saw the motor, and it's the one that makes a noise when I operate the sunroof. What could be wrong with it?

  4. Where should the fog lights be installed since I don't have a dedicated spot on the grille?
