Gamma v radio not working

Just put this into my arosa and it won’t do anything and the red light flashes. When turning on the headlights the lights on the radio come on but still no screen, anyone else had the same problem when fitting one of these or is it just ****ed?IMG_7190.thumb.jpeg.5164fa9388a794956064bc3c0071492b.jpeg

Stupid question, but have you pushed the volume knob in to turn the unit on?

Apologies, didn't download the video! 

I'd say the radio is faulty in this case then. Might be worth testing in another vehicle if you can, but as it comes, it should work with no mods to the existing wiring loom. Only thing you would need to do is input the security code, but seeing as it doesn't even turn on, you can't do that!

I think the radio connector wiring is different to standard Lupo, and you might need an adapter. Or you can pull the plug pins out and do some swapsies. Have you compared the power and ground connections?
