WANTED: Anthracite GTI

Nearly 20 years ago, we parted with the now-wife's 2003 Anthracite GTI.  She is massively keen to get it back.

 

Whilst I understand it's one of the hardest colours to find, we've decided to make it harder by seeing if we can locate the exact car again.  There's no rush.  In fact, financially, we're probably 6 months away, but if we are to find the right car we know this is going to take time and (potentially) some very long discussions.

 

The car she had previously has no aircon, full leather and a sunroof.  Registration was VK53 EYY.

 

If we can't find the exact car, it would be good to see what other anthracite GTI's might be around....

Checking my records and a few other sources. I believe VK53 EYY is on a private plate.

Total which came to this country was 34. The two 05 ones do not have Sunroof but do have leather.

Thanks mate.  I was hoping this might be the case as there doesn't appear to be any record against the number of it ever existing.  I'm hopeful that this means it's being cherished somewhere rather than languishing away.

 

You never know though, every one wants to part with things at some point.
