I have fitted a replacement rear door complete with spoiler in place of the damaged one on my wifes silver TDi, fitting the door and lock were very straightforward but the threading of the wiring through the C pillar has got me stumped, any ideas?

Push something sturdy through (I tend to use a bike outer brake cable ) or a wire hanger or something, tape the loom to the end of it then pull it through!

A piece of electric wire did the job in the end but for anyone considering it in future they need a long piece of wire or string tied to the end of the disconnected cable and use this to drag the replacement cable back through the correct channel
