  1. Hi, It's with a heavy heart that we are selling our Seat Arosa 1.4 16v Sport. It's in great working order and has been well looked after and maintained. It's had 2 owners from new, myself and then later my parents. It's in Black with the Red and Black interior. I'll be gathering additional details over the weekend, but wanted to find out if it was worth advertising here given it's quite high mileage. (I went everywhere in it and loved every moment until I got my Audi A5 Quattro. 🙂) MOT: 18 Oct 2022 Milage 113845k There's a rust spot on the drivers wing that will need treating & filling. As far as I know that's it for wear and tear. We have a full service history since new. If it's unlikely to be of interest to folks here, no worries, but thought I would ask. Thx.
  2. Hello fellow Lupo nuts who are still here. I’m looking as swapping the 1.0 MPI engine out my MK1 Arosa for a Lupo Sport 1.4 16v. Now I know the basics but asking for some help clarifying some bits... - Key/immobiliser. Since my Arosa doesn’t have an immobiliser do I need to swap the barrels and interior wiring loom?? Especially if the Lupo doesn’t have an immobiliser as well?? - Driveshafts. I’m assuming they are the same and my 1.0 ones will do the job? - Engine mounts. I’m assuming the 1.0 and 1.4 ones are in the same place? its not a massive engine swap so I’m hoping it’s not a complicated one?? The Arosa is off the road so don’t need to do it quickly! If I’m getting bits from a car for ‘breaking’ what should I be asking for?? Many thanks in advance!! Sam
  3. The day has come to sell my Arosa as I've now bought a new car. I've owned the car since November 2014 and covered approx 25k in it since. It also has a huge amount of receipts/past MOT's and the V5C in my name and the original 2 keys (one with locking buttons). Pictures here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Arosa-Sport-100bhp-Big-spec-lots-of-upgrades-/142382581436? Spec is as below; - 1.4 100bhp sport AUB 109k - doesn't burn a drop of oil. - Custom Chrome exhaust cat back - Direnza stainless manifold - AP coilovers - 12 months old in perfect order. - Whiteline rear anti-roll bar - Rota GRA 15x6.5, rare now in 15' as they only make them in Subaru size now, with brand new rota caps (perfect condition refurbed in Jan) - Yokohama S Drives 195/45/15 - bought new when wheels were done - 20mm H&R rear spacers. - Momo 300mm, red stitching with a genuine boss and yellow horn button. - Kode red gear knob - Alpine CDE235bt Bluetooth stereo - Cambridge rear lights - Brembo discs front and back, green stuff pads (front) Brembo (rear) - Heko wind deflectors - Dash vents painted splash effect, they look nice (people always ask about them), but to be honest they're not the best finish. - Really decent rubber car mats Recent parts fitted, most/all will have a receipt... - New ignition leads (bigger and don't fit holder) - New battery - New coil pack - New tyres - S Drives - Brake light switch - Rear Brembo pads - Wishbones, ball joints & track rods - Tracking done at A-line with the printout. Serviced in my ownership every 5k with Castrol / Mobil 1 oil and decent parts - not all stamped but lots of receipts from Motorfators with the reg number for service parts. Last service was one was 2k ago. Bad bits... - Bodywork is tatty at the best. Loads of lacquer peel and about 7 shades of yellow. - Rear arches look like they were rolled by a blind person paint has cracked. also paint has flaked off around the rear number plate. - the lip on the sills on both sides are bent/damaged (used as a jacking point by someone), not really an issue but you can see it. - Windows have a mind of their own but always work, drivers one sometimes needs to be asked twice or need a hand halfway up. Passenger one opens only with passenger switch. - Rear right caliper sticks on slightly sometimes and can hear it, still stops as it should. - At some point, the engine light has been taped over, and it is on (can see it in the dark) because of exhaust lambda readings, but the car drives spot on. I also have lots of parts for lying around for it, that will come with the car if the buyer wants, including original seat 5 spoke alloys. Now I know roughly what this car will break for, but I don't have the time or can be bothered to do it. So grab a bargain on the whole lot. No swaps. CASH ON COLLECTION £750 ono
  4. Wondered if anyone can help me, i very recently got a blue lupo for my 17th birthday, i love the car and im just hoping i dont have too many problems. Anyway, to the point... the cloth interior is fabulous and very clean but i noticed my gear stick cover is leather with blue stitching and it doesnt feel right having most other parts in the grey cloth. I had a look around on Ebay and came across: front door cards, rear door cards, speedometer cover, handbrake cover and door handles all leather with blue stitching. I will try and get some pictures up so you can get a better idea of them. I was wondering if anyone has had previous experience with them and could tell me if its worth buying them? thanks, Lewis.

  6. In Penryn in Cornwall, i was at the car wash, this black lupo parked up and after going over to talk to the guy, we began talking, he said if I remember his name was Luke. His lupo had a purple flocked speedometer cover Had Porsche wheels on And was a 1.4 16v and was pretty low, couldn't get my hand under the front arch, if anyone knows who this is i would be very grateful of info as would like to contact the guy. Cheers
  7. Reppin! Finally got a Lupo! And it's a Sport as well. Not taken many pictures of it yet as it's had to have work done to it and I've not been in the mood. Bought it for £2500, done 100k miles but seems to drive perfectly, (coming from my dad) it was loooow, helpers out and everything, but had to raise 35mm it so I could get it over a speed bump at the end of my road Happy as hell with it though! Amazing looking car when it's clean, previous owner was Carly1990, here's a link to what she done to it: http://forums.clublu...90 More pictures this weekend! Dunno what I want to do to it yet, will update when I can, will be a little less frequent at the moment cause I've not got a computer monitor so I'm using a laptop. Sorry for crappy iPhone pics.

  9. Hello to all! My name's Hanna, and I've recently bought a 1.4 16V Fresco Green Lupo - 52 plate, with 32k on the clock. It's my second car, and considering I used to own a snail (Ford Ka) before this, I'm finding it pretty nippy! So here it is. It's completely standard at the moment, but hopefully not for long as I now have these. I'm hoping to get these sprayed in red, bumpers smoothed and the car resprayed. Open to tips and advice
  10. Hi everyone.. Had my Lupo for a while, brought it with a broken gearbox (the common rivit shearing issue).. I had the gearbox replaced and everything was good...
  11. Up for sale is my Lupo sport project because I have far too many projects, and just don't have the time to finish it! Everything is there to complete it. The engine is in position on the mounts but not fully wired up. I have attached the driveshafts and gear linkage but you will need to fit the exhaust manifold/intake/throttle body/fuel rail etc. and all wiring (all there in the engine bay, just needs connecting). It is a 1.4 16v Lupo Sport with 91000 miles. The car is still MOT'd but not sure how long. It has electric windows but the drivers side has come off runner, easy fix. The door check straps also creak when opening the doors but this is a very common problem and an easy fix can be found on the forum! Everything else is in good working order; brakes and handbrake, power steering etc. etc. Modifications include a wide-arch body kit (this seems to look more extreme in photo's than it does in real life), debadged grill with welded up bonnet, tinted windows, side exit exhaust, depo indicators, stripped out rear, corbeau bucket seats with momo harnesses, and a full respray in black with a purple tint - someone spent some serious money on this car at some stage! Please note: the coilovers and alloy wheels have been removed and sold, it is currently on standard suspension and steel wheels. The body kit needs some work in places, it has cracked at the rear arch, and started coming away on one of the front wings, so has been bonded back on. This could be an easy project for someone, and being a 2004 car I believe it is good value. The buckets/subframes/harnesses are worth a bit on their own, engine would be worth £300, and like I said everything is there to finish it off, I just don't have time to turn it into the 'show car' it was planned to be. Location: Corsham, nr. Bath Contact: Please feel free to PM, or text/call 07837 892836 This is a project, and I am very much open to offers for a quick sale because I need the storage space!!
