I assume having wider wheels on the rear of a FWD car is purely a style statement?

Get yourself down to the local VW stealer and ask to borrow some keys. I did, and a technician came out, removed the stereo FOC. If the stealers a bit far, try halfords they sell the keys for around £4.

I wouldn't mount an amp directly to the seat back, best to mount it on a wooden board first.

Personally over the £66 Kenwood, i'd have kept the original unit. Glad you got it installed though.

I like it a lot. Could have just done with some matt black tyre dressing to finish it off.

Looks nice, not too sure about the rear tail lamps though. Loving the black on black theme though.

From when my Fiancee had a 1.4 S: Drivers side window squeled like hell when closing it up. Often stall for no apparent reason Drivers side door didn't sit on the hinges properly, (may have been from a previous owners doing something) Boot was too small! Colour was Gay! (Soft Blue!) The last two are not to be taken seriously;)

Glad you didn't take it the wrong way, the world would be dull if we all had the same tastes. Like the rest of your car though.

Hi people, Just a quick intro, found this site through the forum where i spend most of my time posting (Talk Audio). I drive a Bora, the missus used to have a 1.4 S Lupo, and is wanting another (hopefully the 1.4S 100BHP or GTI). Will be mostly browsing the site, but will be asking questions for the missus in a quest to learn as much about her future car as poss.
