  1. i dont know you. but you seem like a fool. As you've been around various times you know the rules. No warnings needed, its clear in the T&Cs you not allowed more than one account. As we have disabibled that account, starting another is not acceptable. I suggest you leave the forum well alone. Tigz.
  2. Removed. You really should be keeping your head down. Tigz.
  3. a stroker conversion? begin.
  4. thats that answered then. having said that it may still appeal to someone who has a salvage 1.8 engine, can do the work themselves and fancies an NA engine while keeping the 1.6 block. is there any flexibility in the stroke length to get extra capacity out fo the 1.6 block?
  5. the aygo crazy is better, toyota 1.8 mr2 engine turbo charged and mid engined rwd.
  6. Would a £15-20k super tuned, fast c1/107/aygo be too to pricey to have a market? i expect thats what they would need to charge for a high end package in a car this size. depends if they made it mid engined or normal fwd i suppose..
  7. the 1.4 twin charge and turbo charge are being introduced to more models across the VAG range so more options will be available in the future for salvage. as for the 1.8 boring of the 1.6 would it really be more expensive than getting another engine and paying for the conversion to done? i mean to keep it as a bored to 1.8 normally aspirated. i guess its a lot of work for not too much gain, still it would be different/interesting. i think the k series of engines 1.4 1.6 and 1.8 are all the same basic block. and we know from wild cammed 1.8 engines from honda and toyota 190bhp NA is a reasonable power goal, or with the k series engines 160bhp is what they were running i think in the mgf and some elise.
  8. i like the whole range, 107, c1 and aygo. i prefer the aygo. i hope and expect them to be extremely popular cheap cars. and for the tuners they would make very fun turbocharged conversions, whilst also remaining in the same tax band due to loopholes on modifications of engines.
  9. yes they are hugely strong tyres.
  10. well i would call it normal acceptable service from vw and poor service from peugeot. its a warranty claim and it should be expected to get a free car until the work is done, its good that you have left the bad times behind.
  11. if anyone can copy and re edit my post so it lines up be my guest..
  12. tried editing it twice for correct formatting but it wouldn't work.. argh! more simply read this: R888 195/50 R15 8.8kgs T1R 195/50R15r 7.7 kgs 195/45R15 7.1 kgs 205/45R15 7.6 kgs 215/45R15 8.1 kgs
  13. here are some weight (not found on the website) figures for the T1R tyre i have added the R888 specs suitable for 15" lupo wheels aswell. note the superb R888 tyres are 1.1kgs heavier than the equivalent T1R, something to bear in mind. i would say for a lupo running under 130bhp more performance could be had from having the lighter but less grip tyre of the t1R. 14. it maybe possible to use universal shims/spacers. but i think to know at what point the 90 degrees is achieved could be useful, i expect that normal suspension lowering kits -30 to -45mm will be ok, maybe even -60mm. anything more on coil over kits could be reaching the "too low" point for camber progression.
  15. you have captured in essence the reality of life. good statement.
  16. the scientific theory is a bit amiss and vague . if i saw a girl with three eyes that would be rare, and it may even have an evolutionary advantage, but i don't think i would be attracted to her. 3 medium sized breasts on the other hand..., no actually i would still prefer 2 breasts. whatever gene pool mixing goes on with desirability it probably does have mostly a subconscious element. the fact that we have become more aware of different hair colours ,may make it less of a subconscious factor. probably the best habit forming desires come from those we dont realise we have, until its too late. who knows what the developing tastes are in males and females. i know that i'm aware i am attracted to girls of different cultures and races, which is quite an obvious element. but to the 1st poster if its just things blonde your interested in then... i dont know. but i do like blondes. but now i think of it, all the dreams i have had of meeting amazing and magical girls in a sexual/love way, they have all been dark haired. ( my mum is fair haired by the way, further to that it maybe that sexual aspects appear in the minds of the son in relation to the mother, but in actual gene terms this would not be desirable, so its probably just a childlike developmental sexual process of the mind) i think an interesting question would be in the dreams of males what was the type of girl you have dreamed about in a special way? dreams give away a big part of the workings of our minds, they are also very personal.. so to give a final answer maybe i will say brunette.
  17. black gti coming out may 2009 hopfeully.
  18. the gti arb upgrade could be well worth it to non gti lupos. the gti bar is 22mm, non gti bar is 18mm for some and 20mm for others. which respectively gives a 123% and 46% extra stiffness, which should be pretty accurate as the design/materials are of the same type. i would be worth doing even buying new from VW dealers.
  19. this could be called masochistic thoughts in response to trauma.
  20. this is not true. thankfully.
  21. someone else said they were 6.5j, but even if they are 6j the perfect size for the rim is 195 or 185, you can go upto 225/50/15(if they fit in the arches). 165/50/15 is the narrowest you can go. so the 195/50/15 toyo will be perfect for the wheels. and probably for the polo aswell.
  22. the movement is had when the strut bolts are loosened and the hub can pivot about in various ways. you need tools to measure these changes.
  23. on slammed cars using macpherson struts, the angle between strut axis and control arm maybe 90 degrees or over. if this is the case under cornering instead of gaining negative camber the wheel will gain positive camber which will give progressively less grip on the corner. which is bad.. would be intersted to get some results of angle measurements on peoples lowered cars. i will try and get mine from my -30mm drop gti. i guess i will need to get a protractor which i havent had since school. there are ways you can correct this angle by adjusting the control arm with modified parts, should anyone wish to improve things.
  24. ARB table for those lupo/arosa owners upgrading their front arb to the eibach,H&R or GTI ARB then this table can show you how much extra stiffness the bar has.
