hey mate my car is doin EXACTLY the same ive had so far the lambda probe changed, tempsensor, the manifold has been off and back on the throttle body cleaned and sprayed with cleaner and iv only just found the problem ECU be prepared a new one is costly £500 odd from vw shud be gettin my one this week. ill let u know on what happens

yea ive been told by about 10 ppl not on here to now try the ecu so im just gonna upragde to a motec one BUT can anyone tell me what model of motec ecu i need?

surley vw wud know this wudnt they so they wud have replaced both and not just one....?

i have no idea the only changed one thats for sure..... if it aint the ecu thn ive got no idea whats wrong but its running very badly but its still as quick and u wudnt know apart from the fuel consumption and smell....

no lights on and it has been changed cos the old one is in my boot and up for sale on here.... tuff one guys

can any1 point me in the direction of a motec ecu/engine management system

righhht after months of the car being at garages still no sucess apparently its puttin out 10% Co2 emmissions and no one can tell me why lambda probe has been changes and so has the temp sensor still its burning fuel like theres no tommorow i get 3-4 miles on a fiver.... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> theres black smoke comin out the exhaust while its idling even tho its just had its 60k service and star say it may be the ecu sendin out wrong signals or summin am at a loose end and the bank balance is starting to go up in a puff of black smoke also. any ideas!?!? ta.

just got my hands on the samsung d600 and have been pissing about with the link cable viewing and taking pictures thru my tv as the d600 for those of you who dont know comes with an rca lead and it can be connected to any tv makin it your fones screen, u can view anything u would be able to on the normal fone screen which is class, anyway was bored to day and i had a brain storm will it work on my indash monitor in the car??? so i went outside riped the headunit out and pluged the lead into audio left and right and the video in....tadaa! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> absolutley mint! now can view my fones screen for txts.pictures,videos or calls while listening to music read my texts or even surf the net whats also cool is u can start the camera and place the fone up on the dash and the passengers or ppl in the back can see the road ahead (cooler than actually looking out the window ) cool as feck! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
