  3. compared all the joints etc and they are the correct ones, well the same as the ones that came off the car. only thing its looking like is the shaft now
  4. It's a lupo gti, not had it long, will be removing the shaft again tommorow so will post some pictures
  5. They aren't genuine joints but even then they shouldn't all have broke as quick as this ? I think I'm just going to order a full new shaft complete with joints, however I was thinking if it's the wrong shaft that's on the car then if I convert the ball joints to standard lupo ball joints and bring the track in a bit it might take up the play, does that sound reasonable to anyone ?

Okay so now only a few weeks after my previous post I've put another 2 inner cv joints on the car, beginning to think the shaft maybe the wrong one as there seems to be excessive lateral play on the drivers side and virtually none on the passengers side which has been fine, I'm thinking that the drivers shaft maybe too short which is causing the inner joint to have a very short connection with the shaft making it easier to pop out. This theory sound plausible ? Also are any other lupo or polo shafts the same as the gti ones and can someone provide me with lengths.
  7. Recently bought a lupo gti, this would be the second one i have owned. Its down a fair amount on ap coilovers however the drivers side inner cv joint keeps breaking, its only lasting around 2 weeks. had it on various ramps etc thinking that the shaft may be sitting at too much of an angle however the shaft sits fine at the current height of the car. Been thinking could possibly be bent subframe, incorrect wishbones, bent drive shaft etc. if i cannot get to the route of the problem i think im just going to replace the full running gear on the drivers side. Any ideas what the issue may be ?
  8. cam cover is sold, head and bottom end with all other ancilleries still available. the box is gone. it was a 6 speed avy engine from a lupo so the starter is located at the front.
  9. selling for a friend. was previously fitted to a car so isnt mint but would require painting anyway. as far as im aware it has been adapted to fit a non-3l. includes grill,fogs and indicators, one is missing in the picture however it is there. asking for £250 plus courier. also have a jazz blue spoiler as seen in the pictures. £100 ono item is located in fife scotland

  20. just wondered how much and where can i get a gti kit as i think it would look minted on my 1 litre. ive also been thinking about an induction kit cos i heard they give at least 20BHP , dont really know if this has been asked before but how much would it cost to supercharge my one litre as i saw electric superchargers ?
