right yet one more random question so how interchangeable are parts ie what engine could i get stronger rods and pistons from for my AEE turbo build as i dont fancy having custom made forged ones done though i dont mind getting pistons pocketed any ideas folks would be welcome as im stuck

i have mentioned my other car a few times so thought i would show the old gal

yeah i was guessing that the compression would be around that but nice to confirm my thoughts would the pistons and rods from the avu or aeh engines fit and are they any better and what psi doe the G40 run as standard as i may well aim for that level of boost

thanks john yeah the AEE is the old dog 1.6 8v yeah the guy who is producing the the decomp plate wanted to know the original compression ratio and also what ratio i am aiming for looking at running 1.5-2 bar of boost from a garret t28 charger so any advice on what compression to aim for will be appreciated im a bit of a old dog when it comes to engines i have a 175bhp throttlebodied 8v track car so keeping the arosa 8v is my style and why the AEE it was cheap and needed to be dropped in a hurry as the 1.4 8v died

right guys sorry for all the questions but would anyone happen to know the compression ratio of the aee engines so i can work out the depth of the decomp plate i need for my aee turbo build

Right just done a Aee conversion on my arosa and even though there is oil in engine according to the dip stick the oil light comes on and stays on have i missed something

yeah the 1.4 is on its last legs i would go for the 6n2 conversion but cant find one cheap enough

will any of the parts from the 1.4 fit as its not got a alternator or starter motor

right im looking at dropping in my 1.4 mpi seat arosa a VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1.6 8V ENGINE CODE AEE will this mate to the current gearbox and engine mounts

isnt the avy engine the same in the both lupo gti and 6n2 polo gti please do correct me if im wrong

right hi all new here so please dont laugh if this is a silly question so i have a s reg arosa 1.4mpi and as my other car is a 170 bhp throttlebodied 106 the 60bhp just dont cut the mustard with me so my question is how easy would the avy engine from a lupo gti drop in to the little arosa or other ideas of engine conversions but lets not be daft i will have the whole of a weekend to do the conversion myself thanks in advance for any help
