yes mate, i reckon that would work! thats way too expensive! -
vw would use quantum synta, which is 10w-40. i've been using this as top-up, and she seems to be fine!

could be ecu power relay, they go wrong all the time on golfs! -
standard PAS on all cars is hydralically operated, ie, a belt-driven pump run off the engime ect.... the mk6 9n polo uses an electronically-controlled steering column, so changing the settings is possible! tim - don't you remember buying a PAS pipe from me a few months ago, coz you're one was leaking hydralic fluid!?

the 2 pin connection is for lighting the unit up, so you'll need an adaptor cable 6x0 051 734 a which is £13.70 from vw. basically, it connects on the iso loom, and provides a connection to the player for illumination -
brake fluid should be changed every 2 yrs or 20k regardless!
