Hi! I ordered some new brakelines from Brake-lines.co.uk in the beginning of this month for my GTI brakes setup... A week went by and the lines arrived...but they have forgot to include the banjo bolts and washers.... I contacted them telling about the missing parts....they said "sorry sorry we will send the missing parts to you..." This is now 3 weeks ago and i still don't have the missing parts! At the end of this week me and my family are going on vacation to Italy by car (the Lupo) but the car is on axle stands just waiting for the missing parts...! I have contacted them 2-3 times a week without any response..... So if any one would help me by calling them at 08458 622 655 asking about my order (4263) I would be happy.... (my spoken english ain't so good when I'm angry!) You can just PM me with their response... Thanks in advance! Allan

Hi! I need to purchase me at new pair of brake discs for my new GTI brake setup. Does anybody know the quality of the discs from Brakedepot?

I'm about to do the same conversion, so the way to go is to keep the Lupo S's lower ball joints + the steering ball joints? Funny thing: Just checked ETKA and the difference between the Lupo S and the GTi's lower ball joints is that the right one from the Lupo S fits on the GTi on the left side, and visa versa....so maybe they are the same just mounted the other way round....

Hi! Just bought a complete brake setup from 2004 Lupo GTi (without the discs and pads). Which discs+pads will i need? 256x20mm or 256x25mm ones? According to ETKA it can be both...? Will both fit? Is it just the thickness of the pads? Heeelp!

It's almost likely your radiator fan, had the same "owl" in my engine bay...try to lube it.

I would go with satin...and yes it could be done in one day. To be sure the lamp is completly sealed apply some extra "mastic"... (Black silicone sealant).

It's just a bad cable design, I have changed 3 cables so far...it helps for a period and then its starts creaking again.... It's has something to do with the self adjusting parts inside the cable which gets worn pretty fast...then the wire start to grind the flexible metal sleeve it runs in.... It's hard to spray lubrication into it because its sealed... Maybe I should try a non original cable next time?

I seek the original air intake hose from the chassis to the original airfilter box from a GTi. If you have converted to a open airfilter/BMC and have the part lying around...I'm the buyer! Seller must be willing to ship to Denmark. Thanks! Allan

It could also be the radiator fan...when driving it starts spinning and sometimes if it's worn it could make a owl like sound! Been there done that...lubricate it away!

Hi! I've been offered a complete GTi front brake system setup for my Lupo. Will I have problems with my existing 15" alloys when upgrading to the bigger discs/calipers? Will I feel a improvement in braking power? I'm gonna upgrade the brake hoses to steel hoses while I'm at it... Which brand brake discs/pads do you recommend? Thanks!

No they have been taken apart and the painted with a black satin gloss....

Hi! I did it on my 1.4 16V... It was one of the most complicated mods i've ever done on my car... Not to mention expensive... But damn.. the looks and the light output at night is all worth it! The thing that took the most time was installing the headlight washer jets... Hella makes a universal kit, and I used the caps from a Volvo FH truck

Finally got my new black RH wheels on.... And finally got my Awesome anti-roll bar on....it works great!

He he I know....I just looked at a wheel guide comparing the G60's to a Lupo rim and saw the little difference.... G60 6x15 wheel centerhole 57,1mm - Lupo 6x14 wheel centerhole 57,0mm....

I know about the G60 wheels...but the centerhole is 57,1mm and the original Lupo's are 57,0mm...will it still work or will the wheels not be centered?
