I live about 10 minutes from Rye House been there several times quite a good curcuit, I should go to more races etc and even have a go again haven't been in a while! good race btw!!

Before I placed my order I spent countless hours on the computer and reading magazine reviews on all types of cars, But finally the TT for me just ticked all the boxes, (the only downer being a 5 month wait and probably more TT's OTR than you can shake a stick at). But from reviews etc and an insurance perspective being a young driver the 2.0T seemed like the car to go for, I didn't even test drive the 3.2 and up to last week didn't give it a second thought until my old man said give a test drive and see what you think so I did! To be honest I cant see how anyone (maybe financial) would choose the 2.0 over the 3.2 especially the 4wd which is Audi's trademark the grip was just fantastic and the torque felt incredible, just all round felt like a better package maybe not quite the drivers car the 2.0 is but there's no way the 2.0 could put the power down like the 3.2 and when you hear that V6 winding up theres no subistute for that imo!

I am soon to take delivery of my new 3.2 V6 Quattro TT, (I changed my order from the 2.0T) My best mate has just brought himself a megane 225. He rang me yesterday and said once I have run her in for a few miles he wants to have a race on our local dis used airfield. Now how would I fair against the megane dont fancy getting beaten as he will never let it rest! But I feel think he may well do just that!

Tend to agree haven't joined the que as yet, will wait for the reaction.................. at circa £500 its alot of dosh! its got to be a real xbox killer!

Im not trying to piss on anyones's corn flakes but I have a question. How can this be descirbed as art? How can you justify it aginst a Van Gogh and his Vase with Twelve Sunflowers for example. I remember my time at school doing art I was told to sit and draw that painting, it took me weeks! If I was told to draw yours it would take minutes!! A friend of my family got caught at 155 in his 911 turbo about 8 months ago, He received a 6 month suspended sentence banned for 2 years and a £1500 fine! Fortunatly he is self employed so he didnt have a job on the line! but driving was a huge part of his job now its cabs and trains! He was filmed and stopped by a patrolling traffic cop, he held his hands up and got punished! I hope this isn't what your outcome will be, but they didnt look to kindly on him!

When I drive the RR into London (quite regulary) I get pasted with environmental leaflets about how Im polluting the earth etc etc!! How I look at it is like this, When I watch Discovery channel and hear facts and figures like 'this factory pumps out more Co 2 emmisions than the average town in 1 day' or 'This piece of machinery uses more electricity in 10 minutes than the average house does in a week!' I think to myself why the feck should I not drive my Range Rover into London what sod all difference is it going to make!! Until attitudes change on a much larger scale I'll be driving my RR everywhere!

Agree with everything you say, They sent me allocation lists and estimated delivery dates all to get my order seemingly knowing full well they were not going to see the car in April! My plan tomorrow is to call the dealership as a first time caller wanting some info on waiting times for the TT and see what response I get, could be interesting! then I am going to call back and speak to the dealer principle about it maybe nothing can be done now but they will find out how angry I am!!

Well ladies and Gents I'll Try to keep this short. Basically I had my TT on order at my local dealer, He told me a July/August delivery was what I would be looking at I put my deposit down. Anyway I decided to have a ring around some other dealers and found one that had allocations and who could supply me a car by April time great I thought! So I got a refund at my local dealer and placed one with this dealer over 2 hrs away from me solely on the fact I would have the car 2/3 months earlier!. I finalised spec etc about 3 weeks ago now. and now she has informed me the car wont be ready until June time!! I have in writing from her that I would see the car by April dont spose I have any ammo though do I!!! How annoying is that feel like I have been taken for a mug by this dealership!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" />
