  3. Lol! yeah i've been into my lupo's for a couple of years now Used to have a black one before, might have seen it about? Will give you a wave next time I see you... your going out with skinnys brother aren't you?
  4. That would have been me rocking the winter wheels probably Hi btw! Seen your car round town quite a bit, always looking clean!
  5. I ran cults which were 15x8.5s all round, et15. Fronts were fine but the rears scrubbed like a bitch and that was 195/45s, sold them in the end, just wasn't drivable! Hope this gives a rough idea anywayz
  6. Nice subtle drop there.. wheels work well too Think I'm going to get another S3 when I finish uni next year, miss the recaros and the crusie control!
  7. You all need to man up and stop arguing.. this forums become a joke
  8. Flip me whats happened to this forum lol. Performance wise as a few have said there's very little difference, my mates got an xsi with a vts lump dropped in and there's nothing in it upto 80-90. I love the 106 for its rawness but for everyday driving I like the interior and refinement of my lupo. Dropped on coilies they're fun to drive.... just take a test drive of a lupo and see what you feel
  9. Looks good..those spacers at the rear have worked a treat! Might have to get some of these myself to space the moderlines out!
  10. Sorry to hear that! As long as you're alright that's the main thing! I've never had my temp gauge drop once it's warm when driving lol. Sure someone mechanically minded on here will be able to give some advice!
  11. Sweeeet The blokes posting the BMC on monday so i'll place an order with you at the weekend!
  12. Cool cheers, yours seems cheapest so far, does it only come in blue though, as I'd be after blackk! Thanks, Ad
  13. Hi all, I've tried having a search but to no avail... basically I'm buying a BMC CDA but it doesn't have the silicone pipe to connect to the TB. I know the size of that is 63mm so does that mean I just need a 90 degree piece of pipe in this size? I'm probably being thick, but any help is much appreciated Cheers, Ad
  14. My old black one with standard wheels and then comps... And my current lupo, modernlines in the summer. But winter mode atm!
  15. I'm running RSL CUlts, 8.5x15s all round but the et is 15. I know my arches will be wider being a gti but you get an idea of how much poke you'll have! lol. Mine scrub a lot at the rears. The front are fine
  16. Have you thought about Compomotive Th-monos... they come in 15x8 and mine were light compared to my rsl's
  17. As said by Jamie, its just coming from your oil breather pipe mate mine was exactly the same when I took mine off to fit the BMC!
  18. Not sure how you'd split the rear badge to paint the two parts.... but i've just put a smaller badge on from a passat as I think the standard rear badge dwarfs the boot lol. Just an idea
  19. Not happy.... they've rejected my claim Wouldnt give me a reason either. I've got him to forward me the letter now that he received from VW. What do you think the next step is? I'll post a pic up of what they've rejected, see what you think? Can't really see it well due to the lighting but its definitely bubbled and started to split the paint.... This is the e-mail they got from head office that he's forwarded me.... they can't even spell correctly? Subject: RE: Emailing: Lupo WX51FDZ Warranty chkd this one for goodwill as it rust under paint ltd to 3 yrs no goodwill on it im afraid as its over 3ys old, class as paint defect.
  20. Yeah went along and he said the handle couldnt be claimed as its a bolt on part, but he seemed pretty certain the roof would be fine! he's taken some pics and I'll hear from them in due course, so will let you know what the outcome is!
  21. Got a bit bubbling on my roof gutter too, along with the rear boot handle so it's booked in at Gloucester to be inspected tomorrow morning! Fingers crossed!
  22. Agree with Mike M, mine came on and I found my brake light switch had broke. Easy fix you can do yourself!
