  1. It's mega sturdy! I nearly Pulled Ben's arosa off the ramp when I was checking the fit lol.
  2. In terms of custom exhausts, A lot of it depends on where it is being made. I can't quote the "brand" as such but one of the p******ow exhausts will probably just give you a noise and virtually no power gain and if you are lucky enough to get a power gain, you'll probably see a loss in low down torque. Better exhaust builders such as Pipewerx near Wigan or AAS in Newcastle will be able to do a few calculations to help choose the correct diameter for your exhaust to give you a little extra in terms of peak power and a minimal loss in terms of low down torque.
  3. For all intents and purposes, I find Oilman's posts very inciteful and educating. Keep up the good work
  4. The Clio V6 isn't really a hot hatch. Hot hatches aren't allowed to be MR Setup.

The drop links have a tiny amount of flex in them. Just enough to remove any possibility of Creaking from Metal to Metal joints. The Arosa Sport I worked on also had an integral rear ARB within the torsion beam axle.

Mission complete, See here for the write up: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=61570 I'm not sure as of yet as these are already incredibly well priced in comparison to the Competitions anti-roll bar! I'm here James... lol. I do believe the Jabba bar does use a Mikalor clamp. As long as they are looked after you shouldn't have any issues with the mikalor clamps though! I'd suggest giving them a good coating of WD40 once a year to be safe as Mikalor stuff is kinda well known for corrosion.

If It fits as it should and I've got enough time, I'll make up a bit of a fitting guide. Although I'll be cheating by using ramps rather than doing it the DIY way !

Fingers crossed, I'll have some more news on this tomorrow! Ben (lal B3n) and Andy (toi gulp)'s cars are going to be at my disposal tomorrow for a little bit of fitting and testing. Providing everything goes nice and smoothly, I should be able to offer Rear anti-roll bars for a very good price!
  9. NGK "2397" are the Plugs to go for on the GTI. BKUR6-ET10 I would advise going to a Motor factors for these plugs, as the main dealer will nail your hat on!
  10. I was just about to mention this! Unfortunately due to a Catastrophic fire, Powerflex's manufacturing and distribution centre in the UK has been completely distroyed. All stock, All non-digital records of Orders etc. Luckily they have backup copies of the CAD designs of their products and are hoping that they will be back in production by Late February > Early March 2010. In the mean time I have sent a Lupo Wishbone off to Superpro to see if they can develop a Poly bush kit suitable for the Lupo Wishbones.
  11. I'm gona go with the words 'Test Mule' lol...
  12. I've just had a Thought... It may well be a good Idea for us to do the Trial fitting on yours as well as the sport that I've got booked in. My thinking is that due to the Xenons on the GTI, It will probably have some form of level sensors (both front and rear) and before I do any marketing towards GTI owners, I'd want to be 100% Happy that none of the fitments are likely to interfere with the rear level sensor! I can promise you now, It's definitely not a roll bar made to fit a Mazda or a Vauxhall lol.
  13. Jetex used to do one which fitted the 1.0's, Unfortunately it was discontinued recently.
  14. I think we've got the rear Anti-roll bar covered now! It's not a product we want to 'Make Fit' more one which 'Should Fit' but we want to be double sure before we go doing any Marketing on it. Fingers crossed I should be able to say Yay/Nay as to whether it will or won't fit on the 12th December ! So not long to wait now for all you guys and girls that would be interested!
  15. I have the KW Variant 1 Inox on my own car. Having had them once, I'd buy them again without any quarms!
  16. I have PM'd you with the prices. As for the Inox-Line, If you do high mileage, I would definitely recommend them! I do around 15-20,000 miles a year and find them fantastic, makes them easier to clean off and they never show any signs of rust. If you don't do a massive amount of mileage and don't mind giving them a good scrub a few times a year, you should be spot on with them!
  17. I can't see any reason why not. They are both rated to exactly the same drop! James U has the Weitec Hicon GT's on his Non-GTI and his car is pretty darn low!
  18. The tail lights themselves are £88.55 inc VAT, but with the special offer I've put up for Christmas, It'll knock 10% off. So £79.70 all in if you were to collect them. Delivery charge on these is £10.35 via Courier, so they would be £90.05 all in with delivery. That's right yes. I would probably recommend the Weitec Hicon GT's if you weren't looking for a set of Stainless bodied coilovers though. The Ride comfort/Handling is virtually identical between the two! You're just paying a little extra for the KW Brand really.

  20. I can get hold of the Scorpion cat-back systems, Maybe even the Janspeed ones. I'm not sure about Bastuck though. I will have to enquire with one of my suppliers.
  21. I'm sure we'll have it sorted before long though Mike! Thanks for the thought though
  22. No Probs man! Although I may have another person lined up for it!
  23. Are you looking to buy a rear anti-roll bar? Thing is once it's fitted, We can't really remove it and sell it on I'm working this weekend so won't have a chance to fit it on, However next weekend is my weekend off so would have time to do a bit of development then if you want? Let me know!
  24. Only because you don't have a Minus button TBF, It is entertaining to me because people arsing about and making sarcastic jokes is much funnier than someone dancing to 'spoiled' music and winning points.
