call off the search mini was recovered and is now back with its owner thanks to the power of the internet

My friends mini has been stolen It was taken from outside an appartment building in Plymouth City Centre between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm. The rear window was removed and left at the scene. The car is VERY unique! It is painted in BRIGHT Ford ST Orange and has two blue stripes down it. No door handles, no bumpers, smoothed bootlid. It was put up for sale by my friend just a couple days ago (we suspect that this is where they found out about it). The best bet is for you all to take a look at the advert on PistonHeads... long spec list and as we suspect it will be broken apart please can you keep an eye out for any bits that may be from it!! http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1209840.htm It is due to be featured in an upcoming issue of MiniWorld aswell. contact police or ben on 07716006876

rumbling noise when stationary
bousfield19 replied to poochtronic's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
could be the alternator bearings, alternator tensioner bearings(dont know if they vave seperate tensioners) cambelt tensioners clutch release bearing(i know this is a common fault with polos) try putting ur foot on the clutch and see if the noise goes away -
the mini is now sold so im now looking for my first lupo
