  1. Maybe send some ebay messages to some of his previous customers, and ask them how they've found the kit?
  2. I'm considering getting FK Highsports for my Arosa. I went to see some this week, but just wanted to question about the rear of the kit. I assume its right that the rear one is a separate spring (with compressor thing to adjust height) and a koni shock, due to the sping and shock being separate as standard? Also how easy is it adjust when its on the car - just need to jack up the rear?
  3. That's my motor. Just never got round to puttin my pictures in readers rides.
  4. Thanks for the advice. Are they easy enough to take out and re-fit? Is it a case of removing the switch or the dash around it?
  5. When you put in the car on the site don't they know it only a 4 seater? I might phone up and ask... 22, 3yrs NCB, Arosa sport with Admiral for £400. My gf reduced mine by £100!! I agree that insurers that are part of Admiral group are most competitive.
  6. Mine have stopped working when you just hold the indicator stalk up or down and the left one doesn't always work when the indicator stalk is clicked in to position. Somethimes they flash madly, other times just nothing happens. The bulbs all seem to be fine so it must be loose/dirty connections?? Anyone else had similar problems and solved it? Cheers.
  7. If its the one that sits on the manifold at the front of the engine bay, i had mine replaced about a year ago. The warning light kept coming on and i got it diagnosed at SEAT as it was running a bit rough. I think the sensor cost about £90 from SEAT. A mechanic friend fitted mine to save on labour - wasnt too difficult just a bit awkward to get to.
  8. Red Lupo with Jetex centre exit exhaust and tints. Coming off the A2 London-bound at the M25 junction on Friday 11.30ish.
  9. A guy on SE had smoked his indicator lenses. The look good on the black, and would probably look good on the grey car too. Slightly more subtle than a set of after-market ones and keeps the identity of the Arosa. Just a case of whether you can do a good job spraying tinting spay through the bulb hole rather than taking it apart... Thanks to Jacopo1979 for this picture. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
  10. Ah had my Sport on the rollers at Race Power last week! Pity its an Arosa or I'd come along again!
  11. Had my Arosa Sport on the rollers at Race Power last week.
  12. I know what you mean. Yesterday I took off my stainless backbox and put the original one back on and its so nice and peaceful!
  13. Nah its an Arosa. Cheers for the help guys.
  14. Can anyone shed some light on removing the high level brake light unit? I've slid off the cover on the inside of the tailgate and undone the 3 screws. But the bit of plastic that the screws go through is stuck on with some sticky pads - does that need to be torn apart? Or am I missing something? Any tips? Cheers.
  15. Dudes, I've got a set of 60mm gmax springs to put on my arosa sport so it'll obviously only drop another 40mm but I need to match them up with some 60mm shocks. Do I have to go with gmax shocks or can you cross match springs and shocks? Any suggestions? Or would that be a bit risky not knowing how different brands would work together? I've quoted about £150 for a set of gmax shocks. Thanks.
  16. Mine's Yogi When I bought the car there was a note in the manual saying "This is Yogi and you better look after him!" This amazing inspiration came from the number plate which has Y O G 1.
  17. Red Gti standard apart from being decked (part of Track & Race Mag???). Blue one with loadsa stickers in the rear quarter windows and lowered. On Wed 20th, Neither were racing though!
  18. Could be useful to cover the hole smashed into the glass on mine.
  19. If you buy it from ebay it'll probably be the one nicked from your car!
