How did you get it to fit properly around the curved part of the grill? Ive attempted to do mine and for some reason one side wont lie flat and keeps unpeeling

How do you change the bulb for the interior light? Does it unclip from the headlining? Sorry to hijack the thread its just that my bulb has gone and need to change it but dont want to break anything!

Any recommendations on companies? Cheers

Did you strip the paint/laquer off the inners first too or did you just spray over them in black? I ve got some BBS's to refurb too and i made a start by hand and its an absolute pain in the @rse!!

Where did you get the tar remover from? Any particular brand? thanks But arent those just ways to remove the film and glue together?? They're based in Angelsey In Wales and im in Manchester so a little far to go unfortunately I wish i'd thought of using the hairdryer method instead of just ripping them off in temper now!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> I was going to use a stanley blade but was worried i'd scratch my windows, I'll give that a go instead Cheers for the advice matey!! I recently got pulled by the cops for having illegal tints (too dark), fined £30 and told to take them out. I managed to take them out but now the windows are still covered in a glue residue which is preventing my windows from operating properly. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get it off? Ive tried loads of different products for cleaning products, white spirits and even a sticky stuff remover but none of them work, the only one which has made any difference is nailvarnish remover but even that took about 4 hours to clear part of the window and i just ended up with a banging headache and a cold hand from the fumes! Driven my mates stage 4 tuned G40 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> And what a wicked little car that is!! takes about 6.5 seconds to 60 but doesnt feel all that safe to be honest! I'd definitely consider getting one, buts as said prices are high for a well looked after one

I havent checked but i will later on! You sure your washer fluid hasnt just dropped below the halfway line (as the headlight washers dont work once the tank gets closer to empty in order to save washer fluid)?

Unfortunately there is no card on the back of my fuse cover to tell me which fuses are which, dont suppose anyone could scan it for me??

One of my sidelight bulbs has blown and when ive gone to change it the two new bulbs i bought have both blown within seconds of fitting them, any ideas why it keeps doing this or could it just be crappy bulbs that i bought?

My horn has suddenly stopped working, and for some reason today seems to be the day i needed it most, so many god damn careless drivers on the roads!! Anyways where abouts are the fuses on a GTi may as well start there and see if thats the problem. Cheers
