    3D tv

This was Sky HD 3D i was watching. Its going to be free I think to the HD subscribers. Could be wrong though. I just want a little box that does the conversion to make my current TV's 3D ready.

    3D tv

I have been to see a couple of 3D movies at the cinema, Avatar and Alice in Wonderland... I enjoyed them and really liked the 3D.. Well today I got my first play with a 46 inch 3D TV.... and smoe glasses.... Gets the thumbs up from me... I have TWO 1080P TV's and cant really justify laying out £1800 for a new 3D set... It got me thinking... why can't some wizz kid design a 3D converter for the current 2D Tv's? Plug and play....
  7. YES to above...... Will put one a side for you mate...
  8. Will have an offer for 2 weeks starting the 5th -19th Probably like the one above again.... orders in quick.
  9. Ok I know an update is due... will get on it this week....
  10. How much does it cost to charge a lupo? Better off getting a faster car with the money IMO... unless money is no object to you...
  11. Yep they are not cheap... The big service on my bike is £710 + VAT and thats not including if the shims need adjusting.... which is another £288 + VAT.... Service is every 6000 on the bike... which is a little better than my old honda... being every 4000. I think with any high performance vehicle you are going to pay big on servicing... Same with EVO's and scoobys.... A lot of bang for the buck until you service them...
  12. Sky isn't 1080P due to bandwidth costs.... 3D tv on sky is also 1080i. Offer is finished now...
  13. Bike back from Ducati after some warranty work. The clocks had cracks in the glass so these were replaced. Two new tyres (Went for a dual compound Pilot Power 2) New brembo master cylinder as mine was leaking New steel plates in the clutch pack. The old plates had wharped making pulling away very difficult. Bike is booked back in for a service and Samco hose fitment in a couple of weeks. Car requires another set of rears. The backs were replaced end of December and due to the slippery weather and a heavy right foot are down to the wear indicators.... All that icey weather with lots of wheel slip has chewed the tires in 3 months and 3000 miles....
  14. Just had a new bathroom installed due to a leak under the bath rotting the old bath frame. I decided to upgrade the bathroom as had to retile anyway.. Previously I had a shower head going up the wall off a bath mixer. The water was always too hot and on my current combi boiler there was no way of turning the hot water output down. The only thermostat was for the central heating. My fix around this was to run the bathroom tap at the same time as having a shower and this effectively cut the hot water output. i could have a nice warm shower with out taking the skin off my back. Bit of a bodge fix I know but all the other taps in the flat work fine it was just if I had a shower. I assumed the bath mixer was a bit crap and the hot and cold pressure was causing the problem. One of the upgrades to the bathroom was installing a shower behind the wall. This included an seperate shower mixer. This worked well for about a week. The shower temp was perfect and the pressure was fine too. However this week there have been a few problems. The water goes really hot for a couple of mins then cold for a couple of mins. requiring constant adjustment.. I can hear the boiler switching on and off. So I think there is a pressure problem. I have looked at the new shower mixer and there are valves to adjust the hot or cold water into the mixer. Could these be whats causing the problem? I have no plumbing knowledge at all... Anyone have any idea whats causing this problem? Occasionaly the shower pumps a little bit.. Ie the pressure changes very slightly while its on. An easy fix would be to install a new boiler with a thermostat on the hot water out. However as the bathroom has cost so much to do already I wanted to try and fix what I already have. Anyone know how much a new combi boiler is to buy and fit? If I do have to bite the bullet and get a new boiler can someone recommend me a make.
  15. great car, can't wait to see it.
  16. Just split from my Mrs of 9 years.... Chin up... Chest out... Look forward, don't look back Get rid of all there crap... Remove them off facebook... See your mates... Happens to all of us. Remember nobody has died here mate! It hurts but you will get through it....
  17. I went the honda route also, i left the lupo gti for an S2000 which i returned to 5 years later... The civic typre R is a great car.... and the running costs are pretty good... I had a seat leon cupra but to be honest it just felt heavy and not actually that quick.... it was pretty thirsty too. I got rid of it after 6 months. think i would have held on to a type R a little longer.. I really like the old 225 TT and its loads of car for the money... i would be looking at one of thoughs if i was you... my flat mate has one and it was a bargin... £7k!
  18. i had my stick to bop them on the head.... there were 4 handlers around with some scraps to treat them... they seemed alright.... we had to sign a disclaimer before hand though.
  19. got to take them for a walk!
  20. matty, Lol I was just saying sorry for posting dated pictures of the Audi. Wasn't attacking you! I like the way everyone tips toes round each other. Some interesting points raised. it's incredible that you can spec a golf to £41k! I agree a BMW is actually better value for money. I like the 1 series m sport and the 3 series convertible with the 335 twin turbo engine. I actually prefer rear wheel drive cars anyway. So would probably get into a BMW. I think the golf is the better looking car out of the two There is a Golf r on autotrader now with 2000 miles on it for £34k WTF! That's second hand 911 money! Hatch backs have increased in price by so much!
  21. To be honest I think they are all over priced.... both 30K ish....
