  1. I picked mine up from Pete at the weekend and measured the weight of it vs the standard diff. OE diff: 4.5kg Quaife LSD: 4.9kg not much more considering how much extra material there appears to be..
  2. one thing to bare in mind is that with larger discs (and possibly larger wheels to allow for them) you are also increasing the rotational mass that you are trying to stop which negatively affects braking. Whether there is a net positive overall I do not know, it would require testing...
  3. The CL Brakes dot 4 brake fluid has the highest dry boiling point i've ever seen - 325ºC / 617ºF
  4. seen your order, its packed and will be shipped out straight away
  5. as far as I'm aware they don't do a kit for the Lupo.. or does one of the other kits fit?

good news - they've just told me the system will be 3" from now on rather than the 3.5" so can certainly sort you out..
  7. I do have lots of priorities and that is one If there is anything anyone is after that's not on the site, just drop me a pm and If its something I can get hold of I'll get it setup on the site right away..
  8. It's a long process but we are getting more and more stuff back on the site each day.. Plenty more to add for the Lupo too..
  9. It'd be £104.69 through the site but seems your so close can knock a bit off for a cash sale. I'll work out what can do and will send you a pm
  10. We have all the Powerflex in stock and back on the site now. The front kits comes to £59.79 inc vat » front wishbone front inner bush » front wishbone rear bush
  11. I don't think Scorpion will do custom ones without large batches, but I'll double check.. One of the engineers at Janspeed will be giving me a call tomorrow about whether they can offer a tailpipe similar to the Bastuck one you were initially after..
  12. The Janspeed coilovers do come out of Holland too but are not the same as all the rebranded kits such as V-Maxx / TA Technix / Hot Tuning / Raceland etc. Personally I'd go for the AP ones as they use top quality components unlike the budget V-Maxx..
  13. Not sure at the moment. I'll post up when I know more..
  14. they're £421.03 through our site with the 2.5". The reason that is more expensive than the 3.5" is they take their 3.5" stock and then change the tips making more work for themselves.
  15. we're a fair bit cheaper than that at £544.73 + 14.17 del » Bilstein B12 suspension kit The Bilstein B-4 is an OE spec damper and is not uprated or shortened but should be better built than one direct from VW
  16. we'll be developing some cams for the AVY and ARC engines with catcams later on in the year.. There are numerous ways to profile a camshaft - some require uprated internals like cam followers, springs and retainers, some require different induction setups like throttlebodies, turbos and superchargers and some require an aftermarket ECU. It all depends on how lairy you would want to go..
  17. its the ridges inside the bmc cold air feed that are the issue as they disrupt the air flow.. not sure how they compare to the oe intake. The material is not the issue on it. if the air feed has smoother insides either from a metal pipe or using a silicon hose it should improve performance
  18. I've always found that the BMC's were pretty good at filtration. Cotton filters as used in the BMC are certainly better than foam filters for this.. The main thing that lets the CDA down is the air feed which is a corrugated alloy pipe that causes turbulence due to all the ridges. If you replace this with a smoother air feed they'd perform even better..
  19. I think gareth on here still has a inlet manifold for sale if you want to sort something before we get our one finished.. » inlet manifold If you manage to get this off him we've got a Jenvey group buy running on another forum that you can jump in on for a deal on the bits you'd need.. It ends at the end of the month so I'm not sure if its too short notice for you?
  20. We have a set of the CL Brakes (was called Carbone Lorraine) RC5 that we can do cheap as we're looking to clear these, but if dust is an issue you'd be better off going for the newer RC5+ compound which has superseded it as that produces minimal dust and is less noisy too. The CL Brakes pads are fantastic as they due to their unique sintered metal compound they work at a consistent high friction level from cold right through to over 1000 degrees Celsius so you'll never experience pad fade with them. The Mintex M1144 is a good fast road pad and is ok for light track action but you may experience fade on longer track sessions We can supply both the Mintex and CL Brakes ranges but not the Ferodo at the moment: » VW Lupo brake pads If you decide on the RC5 send me a pm and I'll work out a good clearance price
  21. well the ap and weitec coilover kits are tuv approved down to 60mm but people go lower with the adjusters, and without them they go even lower..

on more highly tuned engines the Bastuck will be fine. If the car is close to standard on performance then the bore will be a bit too large and the pulse tuning will be out reducing the gains from the system.. If you want one of these pm me and I'll sort out a good price for you. Janspeed will do alternative tailpipes to the 3.5" one which is the standard but this will be more expensive as they basically mass produce the 3.5" system then change the tailpipe on request.. I know that they definitely will do a 2.5" twin and we sell this on our site as an option. http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php/volkswagen/vw-lupo/exhaust/exhaust-systems/janspeed-catback-exhaust-system-vw-lupo-1-6-16v-gti.html» Janspeed exhaust I will check on the 3" tomorrow and will add it on to our site if they will supply it..
  23. we've can supply the rear springs from the weitec and ap coilover kits separately now which would get you lower.. can also supply the adjusters if it goes too low for you.. » coilover kit spare parts
  24. yay looking forward to picking it up.. out of curiosity how much does it weigh vs standard Pete?
