  1. Hey dude, so what kind of wheels do you have to fit the 280mm discs? Are they better than the standard? Just done my sounds and in the look out for wheels. It's not something I've had alot of experience in. My mate says get light ones, then I had a look for schmidts and quite fancy the look of them as they are deep dishs. Seen an amazing video of them on youtube.
  2. Hey hey hey! The sounds are pumping at last with the earth sellataped to a bolt behind the plastic trim ontop of the rear suspension. It had to make do as i had a sound off today. The guy was pretty surprised, ha ha. You's guys shoulda seen his face, absolutely priceless. Does anyone know how to remove the plastic trim? Don't want to be relying on a piece of sellatape to hold up my sounds. Any pictures would be an added bonus. Also , what was the wiring for you guys like to get the power through the dash. My arm is all cut up. Thanks
  3. Hi, looking for a location to ground my amp. My sub box i in and weirdly i got a puncture today. Just as i wes going to wire it all up. Was thinking of grounding to the top of the suspension. Just looking for any advice from anyone that has fitted sounds to they're arosa. Will try to finish it off tomorrow aswell as gettin new tyres. Also if anyone has alloys to sell then get in touch! Thanks
  4. Hi, I'm looking to change my little arosa tdi brakes for alternative calipers/ discs/ pads. Has anyone tried any and would recommend? thanks
  5. Looking for Wheels

  6. Hi, Thanks for the help. The xenons are fitted, not bad i must say! I managed to remove the battery to fit the passenger side, but on the drivers side i had to stick my hands in the tiny gap and luckily it worked after about an hour and a half. Hey shoud have listened and removed the front bumper. But i'm not too familiar with removing body parts. Well the jobs done now, so heres a picture of the car with xenons. http://s967.photobucket.com/albums/ae154/kwok007/Arosa%20photos/?action=view&current=Arosaxenonfitted10-1-10.jpg&newest=1
  7. Thanks, will try the above suggestions then get back to you!
  8. Hi, needing a little help changing the bulb on a Seat Arosa! It's just that the space is so tight that i'm not able to go ahead with the xenon conversion. I am stuck, any tips would be greatly apreciated. Thanks
  9. That sounds impressive nfbr. What kind of remap did you go for? My mate from work was saying that about changing the whole exhaust system along with the air filter then going for the revo remap. Or would i be better going to get a custom map? Also, my tdi arosa has done 90,000 miles. The worrying thing is that the last owner told me that i will not need a timing chain replacement, although i hear people saying there is a certain mileage where this should be done. What am i going to do? Do i need to worry about this? Thanks
  10. Hi, just got a hold of my first Arosa 1.4 TDI. Went to my local tuning shop and found a Revo remap going for £299. Just wondering if the remap is gauranteed to get 108 BHP out of the car. If anybody had it done, or similar work done then please shed some light! Also looking to put wheels on the car. What size would i need to worry about rolling the arches for clearance? Looking to lower the car too. Thanks Kwok
