  1. I personally think 14-15's look best on the lupos anything smaller or bigger doesn't really look or work right. I am running on 13's an want some 14-15's as they look too small in my opinion.
  2. Thanks for the reply's guys, it passed easily
  3. They are zip tied at the bottom, but that won't stop them comming unseated will it?
  4. Sorry if this topic has already been discussed. I have my mot on the 3rd and was wondering if it will pass without the adjuster cups in the back? Anyone else passed mot with adjusters out on the back?
  5. Far too much in my opinion. If you don't got stupidly low you should be fine
  6. Auto Glym products are decent. However the best I have used is showroom shine by far the best wax n polish product out there. You could also try poorboys wax or cleanfreaks.
  7. it's from a smart repair person - chipsaway company
  8. That's why i think the quotes are two high considering its being done in only that patch and doing it on the car. Can you tell me where you got yours done?
  9. no that's just a quote for the area to be preped and sprayed.on the car and not even the whole bumper just the effected area. Is this a price to expect as the scuff is soo small?
  10. Anyone on here a paint specialist or know of anyone who could repair my mark on my front bumper for cheap? As i have been quoted 125-135 by many, and think that's far too much for a mark that size... photo of the scuff
  11. Looks really smart mate, are those wheels Lensos?
  12. yea that's an idea. I was thinking of wrapping them originally, but not sure what colour..
  13. Also are you on coilovers or just lowering springs?
  14. You have a family of Lupos/Arosas that's awesome and i have the same colour.
  15. So after many hours of playing with small adjustments to get it sitting just right i am almost there. I just need to lower the front a bit more to balance it out as after taking the adjusters out the back sits real nice and low . Just need to get of the shitty steel wheels and find some nice wheels. Also as you can tell i had a massive cleaning session on the loop, getting it waxed to a near mirror finish also just waiting on getting my front bumper resprayed as someone managed to reverse into me whilst i was parked up sorry about the photo spamage haha
  16. It's been ages since i last posted so here are some updates.... A few weeks ago i managed to get some coilovers for the car to get it sitting nice, but never got around to fitting them. So after a while i managed to get some free time to get them on the car. still got loads of plans for the car but funding is putting them back a little. Here are some photos as it currently stands.
  17. Thanks bud not updated mine in ages I'm a lot lower now From what I have seen I think practically all the 1.4 lupos from 2000 onwards are 75hp. It will tell you in your cars hand book that it's 75hp that's how I found out. Anyway going to keep a close eye on this thread, looks interesting
  18. Looks good. Almost a twin of my loop, although you have different wheels. And it's 75hp if your wondering mate.
  19. No worries bud. Will you be at edition 38 this year?
  20. Yea I agree, and surely they don't go through the same manufacturing process as the real deal. So I would imagine there is a potentially big safety risk when buying these wheels. I am after a genuine set of bbs rz of the classic E30 bmw.

    Rep wheels

Just wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences with replica wheels, like the famous bbs reps. And if they are worth the money?
  22. One of the best GTI projects I have seen. Keep up the good work!
  23. Such a nice clean gti. Same colour as my loop as well! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
  24. Wow for 68 each I wouldn't bother...
