I personally think 14-15's look best on the lupos anything smaller or bigger doesn't really look or work right. I am running on 13's an want some 14-15's as they look too small in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply's guys, it passed easily
-
They are zip tied at the bottom, but that won't stop them comming unseated will it?
-
Sorry if this topic has already been discussed. I have my mot on the 3rd and was wondering if it will pass without the adjuster cups in the back? Anyone else passed mot with adjusters out on the back?
-
Auto Glym products are decent. However the best I have used is showroom shine by far the best wax n polish product out there. You could also try poorboys wax or cleanfreaks.

it's from a smart repair person - chipsaway company

That's why i think the quotes are two high considering its being done in only that patch and doing it on the car. Can you tell me where you got yours done?
-
no that's just a quote for the area to be preped and sprayed.on the car and not even the whole bumper just the effected area. Is this a price to expect as the scuff is soo small?
-
Anyone on here a paint specialist or know of anyone who could repair my mark on my front bumper for cheap? As i have been quoted 125-135 by many, and think that's far too much for a mark that size... photo of the scuff

Looks really smart mate, are those wheels Lensos?
-
Looks smart mate
-
yea that's an idea. I was thinking of wrapping them originally, but not sure what colour..
-
Also are you on coilovers or just lowering springs?
-
You have a family of Lupos/Arosas that's awesome and i have the same colour.
-
So after many hours of playing with small adjustments to get it sitting just right i am almost there. I just need to lower the front a bit more to balance it out as after taking the adjusters out the back sits real nice and low . Just need to get of the shitty steel wheels and find some nice wheels. Also as you can tell i had a massive cleaning session on the loop, getting it waxed to a near mirror finish also just waiting on getting my front bumper resprayed as someone managed to reverse into me whilst i was parked up sorry about the photo spamage haha

It's been ages since i last posted so here are some updates.... A few weeks ago i managed to get some coilovers for the car to get it sitting nice, but never got around to fitting them. So after a while i managed to get some free time to get them on the car. still got loads of plans for the car but funding is putting them back a little. Here are some photos as it currently stands.

Thanks bud not updated mine in ages I'm a lot lower now From what I have seen I think practically all the 1.4 lupos from 2000 onwards are 75hp. It will tell you in your cars hand book that it's 75hp that's how I found out. Anyway going to keep a close eye on this thread, looks interesting
-
Looks good. Almost a twin of my loop, although you have different wheels. And it's 75hp if your wondering mate.
-
No worries bud. Will you be at edition 38 this year?
-
Yea I agree, and surely they don't go through the same manufacturing process as the real deal. So I would imagine there is a potentially big safety risk when buying these wheels. I am after a genuine set of bbs rz of the classic E30 bmw.
-
Just wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences with replica wheels, like the famous bbs reps. And if they are worth the money?
-
One of the best GTI projects I have seen. Keep up the good work!
-
Such a nice clean gti. Same colour as my loop as well! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Wow for 68 each I wouldn't bother...
