  3. its the allen nut which has to be torqued up ist it, how do you get a piece to fit from torque wrench to allen key? is there any way to not have to get the camber set up again?
  4. i would do a standard disk replacement and then go for some slightly upgraded pads. ive had greenstuff but they wasnt very good on the performance side of things but they were good at not giving much brake dust. at the min i have ferodo pads and these perform superb! but allong with grooved disks i seem to get brake squeel when just going easy on the brakes.
  5. you been smelling my Gf??
  6. the smell of the gf's fake tan
  7. thanks 'arosaSDI' guess i will have to look into this closer and experiment as no1 else wants to help.
  8. i use megs enducrance, lasts a good while and is a very nice wet look. The megs hot shine spray doesnt last as long but does give a very wet look. i have had problems with the hot shine leaving speckles all up my car tho when driven, dont use it anymore!
  9. nooo, the clay bar is used with a lubricant to rub over the paint and remove surface contaminents (hmm spelling). depending on what machine you are borrowing i would be careful as you can burn paint if you dont know what yoour doing. if you are serious about the cleaning stuff get yourself on www.detailingworld.co.uk and have a browse, it gets complex and addictive tho!
  10. nahh not ronal turbos, they are a tad over don in my opinion
  11. you will very much struggle to rid vw paint of swirls by hand as it is a very hard paint. Best bet is to try and fill/mask them and this is what super resin polish does. You will like the results. If you are investing then get a clay bar kit and clay your whole car then polish then wax. as for applying polish, it has to be worked in, i apply this in swirly motions with the proper applicator. As for wax i like to do straight lines as it helps me to get a thinner layer on and it doesnt have to be worked into the paint
  12. what do you mean you dont need to polish?! lol. try 2 layers of auto glym super resin polish and you will be super surprised at the results, polish and wax are 2 totally different things. i think collinite is about £15 but lasts a long time, its not the smoothest wax to apply and remove, harder than gold class but well worth it in my opinion. the other thing i noticed is that you are puttinbg you wax on very very thick, spread it out more, it will have the same effect but not use as much and wont be as hard to remove.
  13. them alloys are fairly shocking and especially on wanli tyres lol. best bet is to keep your eye out on here and on e38 and wait for some to come up that you like the look of, usually cheaper than buying new
  14. wat the feck is this post all about... you must be bored
  15. i am also a big fan of gold class wax but the only problem is that it doesnt last very long at all, i only get maybe 3-4 weeks at most. i usually have collinit 476 underneeth. does have a deep look to it tho! good shine and depth to say you didnt use a polish or anything underneeth
  16. Thats on all the time at my gym, the only music channel they ever have on is flaunt Them cool guys actually 'spit lyrics' about kitkats?!?! how cool
  17. hope your having something a bit special don to your alloys because i think £260 is expensive. i got a set powder coated and diamond cut for £40 a wheel.
  18. his is the executive, 60 in 7.6 thats quicker than i thought it was! oh well he will be £300 lighter
