Why aren't you VAT registered!?

Rac Trackstar I thinks the proper name for the one I've got cost about £500 pounds. U can pay a monthly subscription or you can pay a one off fee of a few hundred quid that means u get the subscription for ever(or until u sell the car). Think It equated to about 2 years subscription!

I've got a toad think it was about £350-£400 fitted! no probs with it! (I don't mean a frog type thing! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> )

Might be worth phoning round a few insurance companies to see if they offer it cheaper than VW!

IIt covers the money you could loose with an insurance pay out due to car depreciation etc etc.If I remember rightly there are 2 types one pays out the extra up to the value the car cost the other pays out to the value of finance that would be left on the car! If you can afford it and drive like a racing driver and are more likely to cause a crash I'd go for it! If someone crashes into you and after insurance pay out if you still owe finance etc. u can take a civil case against the person who caused the accident for the extra money!But I suppose someone could still nick it! I took it on both my cars and also have an RAC tracker on them as I think both the Loop and Evo would be attractive to joyriders! I'm not paranoid really! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Had a look at the trim on the front bumper Looks as if those bits do conceal something.They are seperate from the main bumper skin! Didn't want to try and pop them off in case I broke them though! All the 03 and 53 reg Gti's on the autotrader web site have the covers on, so I'd say you have bits missing, I'd go to your dealer if I was U!

Charcoal Canister!!? What the f&*k!!?? New to me! I was just gonna put it on the flexible hosing part of the piping that goes to the brake servo. On my car the piping towards the servo is rigid plastic!

BMC Filter Install. Gonna swing it round to the space at the right hand side of the engine as its much cooler there and shield it with some heat shielding. Have to order up some samco piping! I'm waiting on a strut brace to arrive and now that I look at it I don't think the filter will fit under it anyway! Also got EBC grooved/drilled discs with greenstuff pads and eibach springs! Currently deciding on which exhaust and lightweight alloysto go for! Thats not an oil leek by the way I just spilled some when I topped up before I tiik the pic!

I remember being dead excited before I got the GTi, the garage I bought it from sat it right out at the front of the lot to attract people in. I was really worried someone was gonna belt it as there was a school across the road! Don't think I had to wait as long as you though! Don't think I could stand that! Lupo Cup cars have a towing eye! I was looking at your pictures and couldn't make out what it was there. Thought u'd put foglights in or sumfin'!

Just had a look, doesn't give a quarter mile time, just gives times through their handlingkur which is german for handling course. Goes faster than a VTS, and both the V5 and V6 4 motion Golfs! Happy with that!

Is that the same video that claims `0-100kmph`(62mph) time of 9.2 secs! ?

Here's the ass end..............

Seemingly some VW with upright rear windows have this problem! If the direction of the rear water sprayer is not set up correctly after spraying its load the stuff sits in the seal at the top of the rear window, rotting it and causing there not to be a complete seal! Think it only happens if theres a high quantity of window wash stuff in the liquid! This happened on my first car( 6N Polo) and the dealer said it was a common problem! Caused tons of condensation in the boot for such a small hole! Once it was fixed problem stopped!

Just seen a picture of the Fiesta ST it does look pretty cool! Recon it would need another 20 or so BHP to keep up with a Clio Sport!

One of the suppliers I tried 2 order them from said they were waiting for new EBC discs 2 come in as there had been a recall on them. I went to another supplier who said the same but they had just gotten new ones in. Maybe there has been a problem with them!

I asked the dealer when I bought my car and he said it was for coins and the felt material stuff is to stop them falling out!

Just got a digital camera and I'm still working out how to use it! Once I've done a few more mods to the car I'll stick some more photos up....... Sorry to hear about this! I was in a similar accident a year and a half ago and everyone advised me to either hire a car or get a loan of a car within a few days so a long period of time didn't go past where I wasn't driving! Really helped! Hope u r ok!
