New springs or rear anti roll bar?
Vwlup0 replied to Steve TDI's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
I have some decent 40mm lowering springs. As far as I'm aware they're Eibachs, I'll sell them for £30? -
I did! All is well, I took them to the local audi/vw tuners to have a look over them and to get a c spanner! Everything as you decribed
-
I've shopped there before, prices are a 'joke'...
-
My coilovers have just arrived Pictures later if all goes to plan!

New springs or rear anti roll bar?

I run the whiteline rear arb, seriously good! -
Thanks silver, where would I find a replacement seal?
-
How is this fixed? Mine is hanging off and seems to have a sort of sticky foam underneath that's turned green.. Any help appreciated. Ollie.

Looks immaculate! Must say I like the bonnet white too
-
Peace of mind really, I just wanted it properly checked over and serviced. It may be a lot, but money well spent in my eyes as I know everything is spot on at the moment. & thanks mate
-
I know, a bit of a joke to be honest. But I know him personally so I know things are done properly. Funnily enough that's with discount too
-
Okay. For people that wanted to know; You have to pull them from the bottom and they come out, they're done entirely on water pressure so they aren't electic in any way. On a bad note you can't adjust the jets.. But I got the old polish off.
-
Don't chop coils... FK are cheap and relatively low, most people go for corsa b rear shocks and take the adjustment cups out of the rear.
-
What a beauty, and in the best colour
-
I tryed to pull it out and it won't budge! Not sure what to do!
-
What condition is the black one?
-
It would also be nice to clean out the old polish behind them
-
This is one of my jobs for today, I will find a solution!
-
I'll give it another go tonight, I just didn't know if there was a specific way of doing it. Thanks though!
