Need one new tyre for the loop, but would obviously change two at a time as per recommendations (correct?). However, as the current lot are 205/50s, obviously I want to change to 195/45s. Is it ok to have an axle with 205s on and one with 195s until they need changing or do I need to do all 4 at once? Can't really afford all 4 atm. cheers for the insight!

I had a similar problem where I could only unlock the driver's side, but not lock it from the outside. Was remedied by putting a new lock in. My engineer managed to transfer the barrel though so no new keys I was informed the passenger side doesn't transfer to the driver's side.

I don't mean to hijack, but this point interested me. My g/f Loop has an issue with oil clogging up a sensor or something and the light comes on on the dashboard. It doesn't affect the drive and we just ignore it now. But would a panel filter help? It's only a 1.0 BTW. also... is that true?

Hi, I'm Matt and have been lurking a while. Not sure if I said hi when I first joined, but anyway Hi again. Very interesting to see the vast array of modding directions people go for and I'm trying to slowly modify the gf's black 1.0 Loop when she's not looking. I'll get some pics up soon, but so far the only changes are GTi gear stick as her previous one was falling to bits and a set of Bathursts which I'd love to get painted black. Very long term, I'm thinking 1.8T which she's almost agreed to (just might have to economise with the truth about the cost). In the mean time I might have to pay a visit to some of the shows to "inspire" her a bit.
