common one is water pump failing and not pumping water round system .remove return pipe to top of coolant bottle start and rev engine up if no water spurts out of pipe it will mean pumps broken

like you have you tweezers just push a paper clip in one side at a time and it pushes the clips down then pull wire out of the back

the electric fuel pumps in the fuel tank are packing up and vw are having supply problems keeping up with car production and replacing all the faulty units at the same time so they are on back order till further notice

yep very easy to do as I've done it my self at work .you remove steering coulomb to replace pedal box and you turn steering wheel while putting it down out of the way then you come to refit it by accident you turn it a bit more on refitting bolt every thing back up then when you turn full lock for the first time and you snap the wiring and the light comes on .get them to pay for it
