Wheres the cheapest place get a plug in around stoke? Or can anyone do it? Engine management light is on and cat light, and using more petrol than normal.

i got mine aligned and rod ends tightened for a tenner at my local tyre place. have you changed the wishbones? or have they been replaced by previous owner or something. if the wrong ones have been put on it'l change the wheel camber. you wont be able get the tracking to stay perfect if the cambers off so best to get it sorted or you'l be forever getting the trackin redone.

the aftermarket ones dont fit the same i was told when i went vw. if your using loads more petrol check your plugs and coil packs, could have a misfire aswel. or the lights coming on due to a misfire? i know the mechanic said it was dodgy but could be worth a look and save yourself a few quid if it is a misfire.

sounds like a misfire if its stuttering abit. had same problem a few months ago. spark plugs and coil pack change sorted it out for me. need be careful or you'll naker you'r cat aswel coz of the fuel getting into it.

I had similar problem, starter motor was fine, just wouldnt kick in, pushing loads of petrol through and it stunk when it would finally start. had new plugs and coil about 3 months ago and checked they were in tight enough, everything was fine. EPC light and Catalyst light were coming on. turned out to be engine coolant temperature sensor, and another sensor cant remember what its called. had it done this morning.

I want the cover from a GTI for my dash instead of the one that looks like tits that I've got on now. will it fit straight on? or if not can it be modified to fit? cheers Dan.
