Hi Mike thanks for your reply I've had a look at the thread you shared. Sounds relatively similar other than I have no issue with speed only the cold start and pulling away at low speeds. But also no smoke atall. And until yesturday (when I changed MAP sensor) it was using more fuel than it should be by alot. Seems such a trivial thing but im far too attached to the car to just give up but it's so frustrating at the same time !!

Hi guys, honestly been about ten years since I've needed to post, but the time has come. Last December I was lucky enough my very first lupo back on the road after rebuilding the gearbox etc however recently I noticed it was starting to struggle starting when the car had been sat over 12 hours or more. I got myself a copy of vcds and scanned the car multiple times and according to said software I have a P0300 code (random multiple misfire) Sounds simple enough, or so I thought. So the tldr. I've replaced spark plugs, HT leads, coul pack, two temp sensors, MAP sensor, fuel filter, general service etc blah blah and it still says I have the same problem. I honestly can't feel any misfire when driving the car and the starting thing has improved but still evidently something wrong. However the help I need from you guys is where to go next I know of certain things it could be from what I've seen online etc but if I'm being Frank I cannot afford to just keep buying parts on a whim anymore and was wondering if anyone could shed any light as to what they think it could be, oast experiences etc? Yeah I'm looking at fitting them under the stereo ( not in the din slot) I've removed the plastic but because it is only a piece of plastic te drinks holder is thicker and is catching a bit that's all I must get some pics up soon to try better explain myself but in the mean time thanks for all the help guys

Those drinks holders in the picture is how mine should fit but before it had a flat piece of plastic there so when I tried to fit the drinks holders it was pushing up against the dash plastic that is there underneath that piece of plastic if it's any help my lupo is a 1.0 e 2001/2 cheers

It is the under dash part, I'll try upload some pictures later on today after work to try and better explain what I mean if that's cool

Hi guys I recently Aquired a drinks holder piece for my vw but as it did not originally have one it will not fit properly is there any other way to fit this piece without cutting the piece of dash away for it to fit? Cheers thank you chris

change of plan been speaking with a fair few people and they reckon this should be a complete vw event ... so it now is all i will suggest is maybe when we get there or whatever we can still have certain car only few pictures etc its not a problem now lets get lots of people on board and ideas flowing, and magazines/photographers involved !!!! any help will be amazingly appreciated guys !! thanks! p.s i need some work doing to my lupo this winter for this photoshoot. does anyone know of any garages around the northamptonshire area that would smooth a few things for me etc, also in need of another bonnet if anyone has one for sale ? cheers much appreciated!!

well we may have to lookinto that i mean all people that are interested can say there attending and if we get enough people interested then it shall turn into a 'dub photoshoot' and p.s the dates not 1st jan you turd lol it says on the description that we dont yet have a time nor date waiting to see whos interested and what days most people can do to get the most people possible im thinkinkg it will be more along march april time tbf but like i say it all depends what everyone else can do, also if anyone is interested in coming along to this click attending on the event so we can see what sort of numbers were going to end up with thanks guys ... i own a yellow 1.0 lupo and im in need of a few things such as.... badboy bonnet prefferably with notch smothed out badgeless grill 14" banded steels or just 14" steels so i can get them banded mud flaps smothed front bumper rear bumper the idea is to ask around on here etc to see if anyone has these parts floating around then if not i will have to get my arse into gear and make them myself i.e smoth out the bumper etc but would be nice if i could get them on here as would be a great help and save me time so i can worry about other things that need doing. thanks for reading my mobile number is 07843156034 email: clcoles@live.com drop us a text or email if you or know someone that has any of these parts Chris Coles.
