Yeah, i think they only add 20mm when theyre at full drop and considering they are supposed to replace helpers, whats the height that a helper adds when compressed?

Pete, it only raises your minimum ride height if you already run with the adjusters on the bottom and with no helper springs, If i put it on mine (in place of the helpers as you're supposed to) my car would be lower than it is now with them at full drop.

Handbrake aside, are they better in terms of braking with the pedal?

Clips can be had for pence from the dealer. Not sure about the handle problem but am interested as my pass side is the same. Yeah the brass sleeve should sort it or you can buy new door check straps for between 20-30 a side, again from the dealers.

Mine is terrible on fuel when you floor it, VW didnt imagine to average OAP 1.0 driver to plant their foot and even then its nowhere near that bad! Even with it being a sport, something isnt right!
