Didnt really know where to put this so thought id put it here for now, ill get some pics and more details when i pick it up on the 3rd or 4th jan but im glad ive finally gone and bought one after looking at a bunch of different cars for so long! The one ive put a deposit on is a 52reg yellow sport with 64000 miles on the clock, totally standard atm. I had a look around it, took it for a quick drive and absolutely fell for it. My first plans are get some coilies! (any recommendations on make and where to get them are appreciated) and some rims, not decided what yet but probably 13" or some bbs if i can find any cheap enough! As i say pics will follow as soon as i can get some!

Ah I see, thanks for the advice buddy! I may have to save a little more and get me a tdi. Either that or get a cheaper sdi and get me some coilies too haha

Hey all, basically i'm looking to buy a diesel soon as I'm going back to college and need something super cheap (but still cool as hell ) to run. Obviously I'd love a tdi but my budget is about £2500 - £3000 and there don't appear to be many around at that price. Is there a massive difference in performance between the sdi and tdi? I'll be doing a fair few motorway miles so just want to make sure I'm getting the right car. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hey all! Just joined up as I'm interested in getting a lupo as I'm going back into education and need a cheap, reliable, economical car as I do about 200 miles a week. I was inspired by this months fast car magazine and the cover lupo which I thought was just spot on! Loving the J euro look and haven't seen it before. I'm wanting either a 1.4s or 1.7 sdi due to motorway use! Any tips on where to find something suitable and mods etc will be awesome, many thanks, mphgoose
