hi just wondering if anyone knows what i will actually need to put central locking on my e, i have the whole car of which the parts will be coming from so parts arnt a problem its just knowing what i need, am i right in thinking there will be some sort of scu to control the courtesy tight and central locking in general? is the general wiring already in my main loom and just the door looms and scu would need fitting? please tell me if im completely off the ball or if its generally not that easy, any helps appreciated thanks adam

hi, well iv got a set of electric window regulators but i cant actually find where the loom comes out of the door to put in mine, am i right in thinking ill have to take the bottom of the dash off and there will be a connector there or it will plug into the back of the fuse box? any helps appreciated thanks adam

the lights are abit of a makeshift i brought some sidelight holders then drilled holes in the indicators then just wired them into the sidelights with orange bulbs, so its completelty seperate from the indicators to avoid playing with them, thats abit of a letdown haha

my car on 185 60 14s with a et of 35 mine scrubs on the arch but its on coilovers shouldnt have any problems at standard height and a slight rubbing on full lock but when you you really use full lock

this is mine (only fitted because my ignition switch broke) bit of a warning the ciggaret lighter socket has a flat edge so you need to file it and your lighter will never fit again afterwards, and im going to have to dremel a bit off mine so my ashtray fits again, sorry the cars a state, quiet simple to get the centre console out though shouldnt take more then an hour

been on here but dont really post alot due to people already having things sorted and me not really needing much help, but i thought id see what you all think of my po just a few small things done to it so far due to the service history being a bit non existent so im changing everything to be save, so far its had a small service, a new clutch, new brakes all round, coilovers, wind deflectors, pressed plates, wheels and the mirrors white, got alot of plans but like said it needs a few things ie cambelt befor much more can be done, but what dya think?

i get about 170 to a tank round town and about 220 if i take it easy i think i may aswell just get a gti if they do the same fuel consumption as my 1 litre
