  8. 35 litre tank it is then! That means i'll be able to easily get 70 miles after light comes on, top banana!
  9. I managed to get 29.99 litres into the tdi this afternoon having done 58 miles from the red light switching on. Now if its a 35 litre tank surely that would mean the light comes on when there are 2 gallons left rather than one. So is it a 30 litre tank or a 35 litre tank? And does the light come on when there is 1 or 2 gallons left in tank???? Cheers dudes

  11. My landline is very similar to that of an old local video store "Ampower" anyway... would get customers phoning here all the time: "Just wondering if my computer is ready yet?" "Yeah got it all sorted - no problem!! Come down whenever you like!!" "Do you have .......... to rent tonight?" "Yep got loads in, dont need to reserve we have plenty in, free bottle of coke with any rental before 9pm this evening too!!" "I have a computer that needs fixing....." "Yeah well we can do that and it'll be £3.49" "But i havent told you whats wrong with it yet" "Dont need to, everything is £3.49." "But i dont understand, how can you give me a quote on fixing computer if.." "Look, its £3.49 and we'll throw in a free mouse mat, just bring it in, its all good!" It closed a few years back, i really miss those calls! LOL!
  12. Me neither - can someone post a few scans?
  13. 9K No sorry, £8995 - remember that £5!! No ones mentioned the guys claim of 80MPG!!!!!! I managed 100 miles from 12 Litres once and that was without stopping - motorway 60 miles an hour. Anyone got the mile-per-gallon-ometer calculatory device??? NICE!!!!!!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> There's me 20 pence!
  14. Keepin car for little while longer. Had to disappoint a few people when told them it was no longer for sale. having driven the 205 gti for a while i have come to a conclusion.... the Arosa handles really well, low speeds and high speeds buts because there is just so MUCH body roll and general 'speed boat turning a corner' movement, the average driver shits a brick and backs off. Whereas the Pug just grips like a bitch!!
  15. Swear filter working a treat here!!!! If i remember you have lowered suspension anyway?? Has it made much difference on its own you think?? How much and where you buy from dude??
  16. Powerflow... got a friend who had a full Scorpion system on a polo GT 1.3 (mega loud) took it to powerflow and £350 later came out with a full powerflow system that was only a few dBs quieter - bunch of monkeys by the sounds of things!
  17. If been having plenty of fun in my newly acquired *cough* 205 GTI - damn thing handles like a dream, got me thinking about putting a bigger anti roll bar on the Arosa TDI. Has anyone noticed much of a difference??
  18. Mate not come back to me yet. But yur right though - excellent tyres i think refers to the make and not condition - crafty crafty!!!!! Im selling my Lup GTI rims - they are mint with almost A1 condition tyres F1 Eagles so they're easy worth £300 - but yu see them go on ebay for £200 with crap tyres - - i guess people see the dollar signs and deal with consequences later - in case of my mate he tried to get a bargain and got arsed!!
  19. I'm trying to get the listing ID number so we can all have a look at my mates expense. He's just paid good money for a set of 4 *cough* Pug 205 1.9GTI rims off the bay - advertised something like this........ """...MINT RIMS, JUST REFURBISHED, TOYO PROXES, WHEELS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION, WITH EXCELLENT TYRES..""" Mates got them today and the rears are road legal JUST!! and the fronts are shredded to ****!!! GUTTED! Seeing as he will have to now spend at least £200 on tyres in or around 1 month - his "good deal" has turned into a rip off!!! - - - - Moral of story about buying wheels with tyres i think here!!!!- - - - !!!!!!IF THEY ARE BARELY ROAD LEGAL THEY AINT WORTH THE CASH!!!!!!!!
  20. swearing filter worked a treat here!!!!! LOL
