  1. Firstly, You have some beautiful renderings there, I'm currently in my 3rd year doing Product Design, Industrial & Transport. as far as poly modelling goes I'm pretty s**t . I'm more familiar with Solidworks for modelling and using 3D StudioMax for rendering. I just wish I had your skills. I've always wanted to do a model of my MK4 with R32 kit, and an 83 sport quattro I even downloaded a 3d model of the golf, but just don't get time to do anything. Just fannying about doing reports and daft assignments and an absolutely shocking dissertation Haha that last lupo reminds me of my old car which I really regret selling now. I'm gonna get another one shortly 1.4 tdi gti. my final year uni projct is going to be an Electric Vehicle I was going to base it on a 1.4tdi lupo's chassis, redesign the interior and exterior shell and incorporate 2 x 75kw rear hub motors to give an extra 100bhp. This is a brilliant thread btw. awesome skills.
  2. Shiiiit , that list of cars is siiiick, Audi S2's, sport quattro, this will be chuffing awesome, hope they have authentic brutal 5 pot turbo noise to go with it.
  3. Haha jeebus, never thought of this before, ive got a fair few horses flying around the drive. Audi Coupe GT5S 2.2 20v 7A = 170 Audi Coupe S2 2.2 5pot turbo = 480-500ish (depending on climate, definitely wakes you up on the fresh early morning drive to work) Audi A6 Avant 2.7tdi = 180 Porsche 944 S2 3.0 = 211 Porsche 944 lux 2.5 = 160 Porsche 928 manual 5.0 gt clubsport = 340 Lupo 1.4S = 75 Total = 1616BHP Average = 220BHP Excluding bikes and a Go Kart. Haha this makes me feel quite proud apart from that half of them arn't even on the road.
  4. This is my mate, cooky's car, He's from Hartlepool. he told me it was painted, he's had it a while, I think he's got some fat RM's on it now.
  5. I've had my lupo for two weeks and first thing I done was get some coilovers, decided to pay a little extra as I had some budget sh**ters on my previous car which were ok at first but the dampers were diabolical. Any way I ordered some spax rsx fully height and on car adjustable rebound/damping with a twist of the knob, I cannot believe the difference in handling and they do various height packages ranging from a kit which lowers from 20mm - 60mm and the same on the back which is what I got as I wanted to retain an unmodified look. you can set the dampers from relatively soft to more or less solid which is actually like a go kart. they have a stainless threaded sleeve and powder coated strut, and just a general nice oem quality. they don't appear tacky and shiny like the budget versions out there. They were more than what I initially intended on paying but they were massively discounted over £200 off rrp when I bought them, so I really could not refuse them. I cannot compare them to the KW's or H&R as I haven't used them but I imagine there wouldn't be much difference once properly set up. These are ideal if want to retain a decent ride quality, low maintenance and unbeatable performance oh and you get freebies (stickers, a cap and a keyring.LOL Overall very practical for road and track use when needed. I fitted the rears in 40 mins, and the fronts in an hour using 16mm and 18mm and 21mm sockets and an adjustable spanner with a pretty queer sized allen key to stop the damper rod turning(I think it was just over 7mm) I then spent 30 mins getting the height and dampers set up. BISH BASH BOSH! Got the tracking done a day after just to finish it off. I now love my LUPO.
