  4. Nice Stuff Are your P slots 14s? and what tyres do have on them? Looks sweet
  5. Can I ask, Does the Head unit plug in to the standard wiring plugs, or is there an adaptor for it, or does it need splicing in to it? I would like one but dont want to cut in to my wiring.
  6. 65mm VW ones fit the very centre, there on ebay cheap
  7. Is that 20mm spacers on the front and back?
  8. Steve Payne is that you? Jon Hanner

  9. You need '29' and a doughnut looking washer that goes under 29. Unless you take them of your orignal struts. A VW parts person (GSF) will know what you need
  10. Yep both the bush and the bearings new are 20 odd quid. When i did mine i popped in GSF got new bushes and bearings stuck them on top of the new struts made an easy job even easier (saves you the effort of taking old ones off) And also you keep your old struts in-tacked if you ever need them again. Don't forget to get your tracking and camber checked after. Mine was well out!
  11. You don't need spring compressors if you buy new top mounts/washers! (only costs 20 odd quid) Saves time and the effort. That's what i did.... Simples
  12. Does anyone know if heating in the oven like you would for head light smoking, Would this separate the lens from the cluster on my rear Arosa lights as i want to paint the insides. Any ideas people or or is this crazy Jon
  13. Posted a link to this exhaust http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Lupo-Sportex-Exhaust-Tailpipes-Twin-3-Cen-Exit-/270594618956?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f00b2364c Found out from the seller it bolts on under the spare wheel well and uses all original hangers. the only thing i was not sure about was the sound? i was told an increase of 20% but i think it might not sound nice with no back box ??
  14. Take them apart? I did think about it. Anyone know how. Seen it done on headlights.
  15. Sorry for delay in photos What do you think http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab165/kimihanner/?action=view&current=HPIM2156.jpg http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab165/kimihanner/?action=view&current=HPIM2156.jpg#!oZZ6QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs860.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fab165%2Fkimihanner%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DHPIM2152.jpg%26
  16. Sorry for a daily in photos took a load with my phone (a decent 8.1 camera) then couldn't get them of (still cant) had a week away. And now finally been able to take some more. Well people what do you think http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab165/kimihanner/?action=view&current=HPIM2156.jpg
  17. A great looking loop! Tidy love it As for the wheels keep the BBS's in black, if it aint broke! Thought about painting your brake calipers and drums yellow? Keeps them clean and tidy And defo keep the side bump strips And how about a chequered roof (black and yellow of course) keep up the good work, Jon
  18. £65 not bad as the camber was well out and i thought i had it sorted. Somehow the tracking was to the left on both wheels. This was the reason i got it checked, as the steering wheel was to the right going in a straight line Didn't know i would change the tracking when doing the struts
  19. Quick update, Tracking and camber all done! How much more fun is it to drive..... wohoo!
  20. Panic over I loosened the wheel nuts in-order to take the wheels off. but when the car was in the air i didn't take them off, done the job dropped the car back down forgetting i had loosened them! = loose wheels thus the knocking Wheel nuts all tight 5mm spacers in place jobs a gooden
