Just a quick question can anyone help me in finding the location on the engine speed sensor, my engine management light is on and every now and then the engine speed drops down to below 1000rpm them fires up again. So I read the codes today and its got a sporadic fault with the G28 so just want to do a quick check of the wiring before I order one. oh and the engine code is AUB.Thanks

Well iv got a few parts laying around my dads garage and i could do with some monies to fund a new interior. Arosa mk2 Rear lights Excellent condition, all in fully working condition with bulb holders. £20 Standard suspension (sport): removed from my arosa with 44,000m all in excellent condition again, hardly any paint flaking from the springs, got the struts too. i do believe these are slightly lower than non sport or gti lupos and arosas, correct me if im wrong. springs:£30 Springs and dampers : £55 Brand new strut top mounts: Bought these from the vw main dealer i work at but never fit them when i fit my coilovers as mine seem in pretty good condition. paid £26 for them. £17 takes them away. Its been a while since iv made an update so today my girlfriend decided she wanted to go for a drive over some of the cumbrian passes so i thought it would be a good time to get some new photos. good roads, good photo spots so here goes....

Im an mot tester and if it was me id pass it because im a nice guy like that but some people can be really harsh because they get a power trip. a guy i used to work with failed nearly every car on headlight aim even though it takes about 20seconds to adjust :l i hope you find a nice tester.

Bought these shims with the intentions of fitting them to my sport but now due to getting my first house and having no spare time I won't be fitting them. They are brand new, all iv done is cut then ready to be fit (apart from the secion for the abs sensor) I paid 25quid for them so £15 takes them. Seen a yellow lupo a few weeks back with a centre exit, don't think its a sport though and also today seen a black lupo, looked standard, both at walkingshaws vw in workington, captured the black one stop and perve on my arosa for a few mins as they drove past

I'll take a ticket for the coilpack please But in all seriousness best to get a code reader on it to try pinpoint the fault rather than guessing a few posibilities.

the voltage will jump around, if its charging properly it should be around 14.5v if its just sat around 12v then your alternator aint charging
