Can you detail exactly how you'll mount the seats? Will you use the railing from the original seats(the part that is mounted on the floor of the car - see pic below) and modify the seats so they fit the railing or modify the railing itself for the new seats? One problem i have with my seats is that they squeek allot (especialy in the winter) and i found that if i push them forward and then back a bit it's ok for acouple of days. Mounting new seats on the same railes would mean they would squeek too. Do you have the same problem?

What's the situation with the Mk 5 GTI seats? Also, do you plan to change the material on the back seats to match those or do you have other plans?
-
Can you post a pic of that last bit installed? (just to see how it looks "in context")

You need to do the center console in that gloss black!

Shure, but it would help to know what wires should go where, which wires can you strip out, etc. It would at least save the others the hassle of identifing the wires

I think it's the same one i found: 4D0 959 831 There was also this one: But the first one has a similar texture with the dashbord, which is nice There is also this one, that you can find on a VW Polo Classic or Estate. Looks nice and fits in the dash but i don't like the fact that it has the wrong simbols (opened door instead of boot). Well i gues it would since it's ment to open(lock/unlock) the doors LE: here are some more: http://www.passatplus.de/umbauteile/schalter/schalter2.htm http://www.passatplus.de/umbauteile/schalter/schalter3.htm http://www.passatplus.de/umbauteile/schalter/schalter4.htm http://www.passatplus.de/umbauteile/schalter/schalter.htm

Did you manage to take some pics?

Hey guys I recently installed a boot poper but not realy liking the button it came with. I would like to modify an original button from the underdash to act as the boot pop button but i'm not shure which to use. Does anyone has a picture or something of all buttons that fit in there(like the hazzard one, the one for heated seats, etc)? Thank you!

What was that about the steering wheel? any problems with it? Everyone who's ever fited one of these is very hush hush and not giving much details on fitting, reliability, problems with it, etc. I don't get it! -
You will need to modify it(and the slip ring)in order to make it fit. I want to add one of those so if you manage to make it fit please take some pictures and make a short tutorial.
