Im not too sure where i got the idea from realy. iv always liked the styling of hot rods and air cooled vws so i guess that is partialy responsible.

Update time. eventualy managed to get my show plates ready. they were standard pressed plates I ordered at ultimate dubs. took me ages to get all the glue and everything off and then polish them up. as some of you know I went to Deva Dubs and Rods show on the sunday. pissed it down from start to finish. meant I couldnt get the camera out. Good news is I came away with a top 5 trophy was pretty shocked tbh. some damn good compettition. The girlfriend and I headed out towards Oswestry for a couple of days after the show. raised the car up quite a bit and stuck the larger wheels on. still hit the road a couple of times silly welsh roads. anny comment always welcome, Sean.

Saw this lupo at Deva dubs and rods on sunday. Looks frigin awesome. flat paint in the wet just looks ratty as fek!

cheers for the comments guys the bumper is a real hastle still tampering with it to get it to sit just right. it realy does depend what angle you look at it tho. I'll keep working on it

went to a little show "dubs at the farm" last weekend. managed to bag myself a trophy for best water cooled. but most importantly I was shocked at the ammount of people that didnt know what a lupo was! some even thought it was a GOLF!!! also decided to get a new engine cover keeping it oem black plastic for now.
