  1. I have a frame set laying in my garage doing bugger all. It needs brakes and a front wheel to be a bike. but I don't like bikes with suspension. had intensions of making it a xc bike. but never happened. The frame is a 17" Merlin. really nice frame, in blue. Groupset is all deore, with an xt front mech. Rear wheel is a mavic f519 again on deore a hub. brand new unsued fsa orbit headset. Unused sram 9sp chain Sherman forks. 150mm forks, disc mount only. nice and smooth. Normal qr not bolt through core stem. with 3 bolts. I got the forks off ebay, and never used them once, but they to work. and I got them for the price of the bike. Just need money rather sharp. Asking £300 posted. as the forks are worth that alone.....ill get some better pics up tonight Cheers

    Lupo 20v

why does the guy want new shock bolts? if your replacing them with genuine parts there going to be exactly the same. Try getting some camber bolts, they have a cam in and you can adjust the amount equally. Or if your shocks are similar to mine the bottom bolt hole is elongated so all they need to is loosen the two bolts, pull the hub out and retighten the bolts. and should be okay. If your caster is out, the only way is to get adjustable top mounts. iirc
  5. hopefully.. Ill be rocking the astra shed! +)
  6. i there a bleed nipple on the master cyclinder on the sports? The correct way to do rear brake pads is to back the hand brake travel off, push the brake callipers back, then adjust the hand brake back up. but you knew that you just getting the sill sorted?
  7. hats of to you fella, I work in a garage myself and I know what its like getting time to work on your own car. well I find it hard to get time to fit wipers at work........... and the last thing i wont to do after working on a punters car, is strip mine out!! but why not just powerflex the bushes while there off?!
  8. got mine from Eurpo car parts about £25 I think
