thanks man! was just about to post this up! went to EE on the weekend, show was really good, becoming one of my favourite of the year. photos! we stopped on the way to get some air in my friends tyres, just happened to park up like this and get an awesome photo and rolling shots... how much have you been paying for replacements sumps? i wouldnt mind if they were like £30 (what my friend pays for his) but arent they like 100?

has anyone raised a 1.4 tdi engine before? ive done some searches around this forum,edition38 and google in general and found nothing. im having serious clearance issues, surely i cant be the only one. any help appriciated

wow thanks people. had the car up yesterday to see how the undertray was doing, its pretty wrecked. burnt a hole through it. so ive pulled it off, and then hit my sump twice that same day, no cracks yet though!

ive had a few opportunities but to be honest im not that bothered, part of me thinks i prefer it without them ive got older pictures but theyre all of the car a bit higher as i seem to be lowering it about twice a week. some have loads of photos coming soon when i get out and do a proper shoot. if youre on instagram theres loads of pictures on my page: fourseasonsuk thanks dude! im very happy with it, getting all the economy i need now with my 400 miles a week, all with my sump about 2 fingers off the floor

165/45s are now on, its so much lower! these photos were taken just after putting them on and messing with the suspension, looking at it i think its dropped a bit more since. Drove up to a JDM meet yesterday with a friend in his ridiculously low Corrado. some of the peoples faces when we were going over speedbumps were hilarious. Showing them what real low looks like. Sump is about 2 fingers from the floor, lets see how many days i last before i smash my sump doing 400 miles a week

thanks dude yeah i love the colour, didnt think id get one in the exactly colour i wanted but i got lucky thanks rich, wasnt that happy about the height at UD but have messed with it since then and its better. cheers dude, yeah i wasny happy about it when we met up at all. haha. still more to come hopefully. do it dude! they look so good low. haha yeah i miss the lupo a bit but its gone to someone whos into it all too so hopefully ill see it around. yeah i saw your photo of it from stanceworks, thanks man.

update: GTI splitter Notched Loads of messing with the arches and what not finally got it sitting way way way better. ive actually wound it down since UD so its a bit lower at the front now. splitter is probably 2 inches from the floor, maybe a bit less. arches are catching though so cant get it any lower. considering 165/45 tyres for the front instead for a bit more room when turning. well happy overall though

cant wait to see it, are you running a short rear plate? are you having/had the recess shortened?

mileage was pretty much dead on 100,000. diesel though so will go forever hopefully. average mpg is about 60/65, on motorways they can see 75 too apparently... sadly mine isnt doing those kind of figures at the minute cheers man thanks man, i like that it carrys elements of the lupo but it just looks a bit more grown up. haha. yeah i love driving it, cruises so nicely on the motorway. UPDATE: went to VW today andd picked up a new CV boot (mines split), service parts and a GTI front splitter. Just need that notch now. Also spent last night cleaning up my headlights as they were mouldy and misted. Wet sanded them with 800, 1200, 1500, and 2000 grit before mopping them with a machine polisher and theyve come out like new! no photos though because im an idiot and didnt take any.

Sold my lupo about 2 months ago, doing about 300 - 350 miles a week i needed something more efficient. went for a 6n2 polo TDI because of the great fuel figures they return and also cheap tax Had this car about 5 or 6 weeks, but i seem to have a lot of money around at the minute so progress has been quick! Havent got many photos of the car how i bought it as it looked pretty crap. and one next to my friends GTI Ordered coilovers within a week of owning it then ordered wheels about 2 weeks ago. Bullet Wheels 15 x 7 and 15 x 8 et 20 all round pretty perfect fit for the polo! Tyres are nankang ns2's all round, 165/50 fronts and 185/45 rears a trial fit photo... tyres went on a few days ago and now theyre on properly. Future plans are: NOTCH (drive shafts already rubbing lots hence stupidly high front end) hopefully in the next 2 weeks.GTI splitter (ordered from VW earlier today)GTI Spoiler possible wheel colour change - i like black but its a bit common on these wheels as its the only colour you can buy them in.cleaning up the headlights (mouldy lenses)install audio from the lupomomo 280/300new o/s front wing due to a fair bit of rustlower all roundstay tuned!

if youve rolled your arches and you're going to put 20mm spacers on the front then youll need to cut the liners on the outside edge.
