Ok back at uni. So please feel free to ask away for any particular pics

Spoke to Barry (guy that runs it today) and we have decided to go into the unrestricted 1.4 class! We are therefore looking for a Lupo sport engine and I believe its best to mate it to a 1.4 box even tho this will give longer ratios its far stronger. We are also after a perspec window kit if that guy wants to pm me a price for a set of 5?

Ali boot lid, bonnet and doors would be great, however expensive for what they are I believe, anyone got any offerings? I know boots and bonnets come up cheap enough oftern, door on the other hand are normally £300+!

Dropped the polycarb windows off for this car today. Suggested to Barry to get some GTI doors and a GTI bonnet. GTI boots are steel, so would have to source a 3L boot which could be a right pain!

Starting the Beng Motorsport course in September too :)

As it's a rally car, surely parts like doors and bonnets are going to get damaged regularly.

Would it not be more cost effective to get the hole saw out and chop out as much metal as you can rather than buying horrifically expensive, rare parts for them to get damaged?

Carbon fibre bonnet will be as light if not lighter than the alloy bonnet anyway too.
