Tallika_Fan
Alright folks got a techinal question for you.Noticed it just over a week ago, at first thought it was a wheel bearing on it's way out, though it's not that.Upon travelling over about 30mph, slightly depressing the clutch (before it disengages the gearbox) reveals a noise not unlike someone making something on a metalworking lathe....Though when clutch in fully, no noise. Slowing down also reveals a noise not too dissimilar from a wheel bearing.Any ideas of what this could be?Cheers.
LoopyLing
My Ibiza used to do the same thing, my Lupo has also followed suit.On the Seat it was the Initial motion bearings which didn't mean much to me except that I had to give the nice man at the garage a few hundred pounds to cure it.si. Does anyones want to elaborate on the motion bearings if they know where they are located.Cheers
