Picked up my first lupo gti yesterday, drove it 150 miles home and had no problems drove like a dream, started every time, stopped a few times on the drive home and had no problems. It's got the typical starter motor problem but everything else is sound.

This morning we tested the alarm on it, and after the alarm went off the car would not start, but the keys still work and will stick lock/unlock. it ticks over then cuts out. We've tried jump starting it, and disconnecting the battery but no luck?! Checked the fuses but all ok.

Can anyone help or anyone had this problem too?!
