Vwlup0
I'm picking up a little beauty on Friday, all seems well with the gearbox, clutch, bodywork ect. I'm just wondering if there is any usual problems or issues to look out for. Thanks for the help in advance!?
mickster
High level rear brake light (the one in the spoiler) - the connections corrode and it stops working, seems a common issue and from very recent experience can be a right pain to fix! EnglandSoul
Windows not working loud doors when you on and close them, as said above middle brake light not working. corroded boot lock to name a few off the top of my head. mickster
Oh stiff locking mechanisms? My passenger side doesn't go down using the internal anti-hijack button and is a bit loud in general although works 100% otherwise! Probably not common but the OEM 6 CD changer in mine is broken too... I think most of the potential problems are the same as those found on the standard Lupos. Vwlup0
I checked all the lights and listened for the common dodgey checkstrap. It feels very well built; i.e the gearbox. It does seem to only scrub on the Nsr arch, but it isn't that low, shock? The bloke said the combined spacing of the wheel, location of the fuel tank and the rear arb could cause it, but I'm unsure- cheap fix though I'm guessing! Cheers for the help! Can't wait to get back in a lupo as of Friday! And I'll be up players if all goes to plan!
