amckenzie
ok so i'm not great at updating this in little bits so have another bit posts So the interior in my car is grey, i hate grey, i want it dark... so i brought a full black plastic interior and tryed to fit it...the dash is not nice to get out...brut force and alot of swearing!!Yep i got pretty pissed off.... but it looks good finished. This was before i bolted it in.. your asking your self why is the centre console still grey? well that will be revealed soon dont worry guys So i treated my self...not that my wallet liked it one bit but, holy crap im so glad i got them, big thank you to Craig mahoney for the wheels, keep up the good work with you car buddy!!15x7 stupidly shiny chrome and black bullet steels.... holy crap they are beautiful The suit the car down to the ground and so happy with them.... (dont mind the muppet, we dont let him out of the cage much)Ok so this weekend was Players then DC14, so i was stoked to have wheels on for the shows, now for a deep arse clean!!I took my rear lights off because whenever i jet washed aroind there so much dirt would come out so i decided to just take the light off and give it a good clean!! At players i brought some yellow film, yer i know scene as hell and over done but its my car and i think it will look sick! just a hint though...before....After.... The fogs will be going a lot dark, only actually worked out how to use them 3 days ago....So as i was finishing up the lights and cleaning up my buddy says 'why dont you do the bump strips' at 8:30 pm.... so i did and instantly regreted it, i now have a car with one side de bumped and the other not... why because i can okay!! During the long ordeal After... I took them off, cleared the glue and crap off it but then i saw a white line of faded paint....only my car would do this, so my mate spend what felt like a life time to bring the paint back to life but we only got a quater of it done but it will get complete.... sad right But after that the door was like glass, stupidly shiny...The image got shared and got loads of likes for some reason.... follow me on instagram @alexthetogSo to cheer you up have a look at some shots i took of her for Low conformists at DC14...See you all soon

amckenzie
I spent 3-4 hours doing the headlights tonight after you said about it. 3 grade of wet and dry paper and a machine polisher. I'll upload pictures tomorrow! Thanks for the help with this one!
Danyutz
As said on facebook, end results are great and the night driving is suddenly better - after i've done mine, i actually noticed light on the right side!
amckenzie
Ok as promised, here the photo of the headlights, have a little how to swell, just because I'm nice like that....Use wet and dry for this people!Start with a 400 grit, up and down motion, don't go in circles, when you can see it the shot starting to clear go to a 800 grit and repeat, keep the paper super wet, up down up down, then change finally to a 1200 grit and really go at it. Then finish with a good polish a few times. The more elbow grease you put in the better they will be, take your time and mask around the lights before starting.Peace! amckenzie
Ok so the weekend was a busy one, Had a nice little trip down to dunelm. I say nice, nice for bad for the wallet. I left with 3 Meters of suede and 2 Meters of Black leather....Expensive.I decided i wanted the headliner in suede along with the B and C pillars too and then leather on the door cards, lower door cards...not a bloody clue yet. Ill shut up and let the photos do the talking! The clips im using here are stupidly handy, they are literally a second set of hands, if your thinking of doing this really cool little weekend mod, i strongly suggest you get some!First rear card complete, i suggest doing the rears first so you get the hang of the technique and get to know what your actually doing with the material!! get the mistakes out the way in the back of the car so your front cards will look fresher than death! On to the head lining! Before! a Tatty looking grey/white/brown headlining and also pillar....oh the difference a nice material will make in here...Looks 10x better already, make sure you have a lot to play with! just in case!! suede is rather expensive! All complete with the holes cut out and ready to go! oh its a right bitch getting this thing back in!! grab handles are rather annoying to put back in!see so much better!! makes the inside alot darker and its like a chalk board so prepare for your mates to draw willies all over it... trust me, it willy happen...So thats the C pillar and also the B pillar trimmed in suede with the headliner too, oh and a leather door card! only held on by 2 clips...opss! new ones on the way thats for sure!!bit of a better view with the door card and every think, there is alot that needs to be painted black. Its on the list! the grab handles with have a suede jacket made for them, it will be a nice touch!Next on the list is new carpet and getting somethings wrapped and hydro dipped....What do you guys think??
