  1. God i love them wheels mate! Looks tidy as anything! Did you help with the roof wrap at all? Thats my next plan and wondered if you had any advice?
  2. While I wait to get the right Allen key I decided to give the car a polish and give the engine bay a little clean! Engine bay isn't brilliantly done but it's my first go at cleaning an engine up properly! Never noticed my cat in the photo until I uploaded it :L Licence plate now on as you notice! So much better!
  3. Hey guys! Changing my coilovers at the moment! Have tried every single one of my Allen keys with no luck! What size is the top mount for the Allen key??
  4. Just finished putting the coilovers on the rear! Many rusty as hell bolts, lots of swear words and here's the result! Hoping it sets down a bitty lower as in my head it was gonna be right down! Will wait and see after a week! Ran out of time tonight so will be doing the fronts in the morning!
  5. I was thinking about keeping the standard lights but go over them with a light tint spray to make them a bit more dark? Dont fancy a red car with red taillights if you get me
  6. Right, Now im getting onto servicing the car and getting the bits that need fixed fixed! (Its been a busy time for me just now) What im confused with is there are two different slide pin kits and not sure which one I need! Hopefully someone can help me! Its either -http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-AROSA-FRONT-BRAKE-CALIPER-SLIDER-PIN-KIT-GUIDES-FOR-VENTED-DISCS-BCF1313F-/331113791419?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AArosa&hash=item4d17eb7fbb OR http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-AROSA-FRONT-CALIPER-SLIDER-PIN-KIT-GUIDE-PINS-VENTED-DISCS-LUCAS-BCF1301S-/261309853669?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AArosa&hash=item3cd747efe5 Also, For my coilovers I just want to get new top mounts to save the hassle of ripping apart the old suspension. You can buy the mounts but what bolts/washers etc go along with it? Servicing parts will be ordered today Also swapping licence plate over!
  7. No idea buddy! The spoiler was already on the car when I bought her
  8. There's a thread in here if you do a quick search. Real simple, hair dryer, plastic knife or dental floss, tar remover, t cut and polish.
  9. That's the one pal! You can see it here! http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/98670-stuarts-wee-arosa-thread/ Looks miles better I think pal!
  10. Amazon debadged grill for £16 one I went for! Looks good, have a look on my thread if you wanna see Debadge the back. Thread also pinned somewhere on here how to do this easily! Chuck up some photos of your car
  11. My average so far is about 120-150 miles for a half tank in my 1.4 sport? Just remember it's only a small fuel tank? Think it's about 35L tank?
  12. Cars looking brilliant pal! This car looks like it has so much more character than a gti! Keep her! You got any more plans for her?
  13. Finally got these bad boys on! Had to drive about 20 miles to go buy spigot rings as I only had 2.. Weirdly! But none the less here you go! Still gotta chuck the centre caps back in and give her a good clean! But she's sorely needing lowered right down!
  14. Debadged front grill today! Since I have no clips or nothing it's held in place with evo stik and the little plastic grooves at the side! Prefer this look, looks more aggressive!
  15. This has to be one of the most important mods in my eyes! And also these baby's came in the post! FK AK Street coilovers! Cheap an cheerful I know but it gets the job done! Any problems lowering on 195/45/15s?
  16. Personally I'd debadge the back and get a badge less grill for the front! Install a HID kit or just get HID like bulbs. Smoked side repeaters. If you did manage to wrap the bonnet somehow, get the wheels black/anthracite to go along with it
  17. Cheers guys! Just put an order away for a few bits and bobs for the car! Some things I can do myself and something's I'll have to wait until my uncle helps me (he's a mechanic) All will be slowly revealed as they arrive in the next few days
  18. Yeah mate keep them and paint them silver! Will look real nice!
  19. This is the one I ordered - Mattig 079989 Grille (No Logo) Seat Arosa 01- by Mattig http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BIOG34Y/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_C.wttb17811FF Now I have no idea how to fit it now bits are broken? Never done/don't know how to plastic weld? Strong glue + self tapping screws?
  20. It's the housing that the grill clips onto, two clips at the bottom have broken off and unsure if there were clips on the side originally? Have debadge grill coming so hope to have this fixed before installing!
  21. Upon removing the front grill of the arosa I accidentally snapped the clips to hold it on! *doh* Was wondering if anyone had a quick fix or a link to buy the new part, can't find it for the life of me!
  22. I had a set of CADES EROS when I had my first lupo! They were still up the loft, all kerbed and in minging condition After a good while sanding back and trying to get them as perfect as possible we applied the primer and if I wasn't going black, just the primer looks pretty snazzy! Then we used a lighter grade sandpaper and did another coat of primer and sanded that again. Then it was time to do the gloss black and repeat the process followed by lacquer! Here's the end result. And here it looks sitting next to the car! I need new tires, hence not being fitted already
  23. Another thing I hated about the car was the a AROSA writing on the back and also the R badges were colour faded! Looks horrible so decided to take them off. I searched how to do it online, got a few tips then me and my cousin took a bash at it! I'm wielding the spatula After the badges were off there was a few bits of stubborn glue that T-cutted off! Few goes with T-cut and polish an it's pretty well blended, minus the 'O' in some light! Personally I think this looks miles better!
  24. So I've had a very busy weekend doing bits and bobs to the little beastie while I wait for the parts to fix her! First things first the mirror caps were stonechipped to hell and were different shades of red so I have resprayed them gloss black and they look much much better IMO! Then with the black gloss mirrors
