Jimmie77
Hi have a Lupo 2001 1.4. Yesterday i cleared the inside of the drivers door and found this (pic). Ive never saw this Before. Ive taken apart the door one time Before to replace the window buttons and i have fixed a broken peice of the lock (the lump where the key goes) and this one i never saw, or Heard anything drop when fiddling around. danoid
That is part of the door lock, it doesn't have it's own part numberWithout that your door lock (where keys goes) can just be removed!http://www.partscats.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1865&set=1867&ein=2000&f=231&hauptgr=1234567890&hg=8&grf=083700221&bf=83700&hgug=837&ug=37&parent_id=1215513part
Jimmie77
aha thanx. But i still dont really get how to get it in Place again =) does it sort of sit on the inside of part 26? and the the screw on the side of the door keeps it in Place? danoid
Yer it's does sit in place, but mine was bent so had to buy the new lot, was about £15 back then.Once it's in, the screw at side of the door turns that mech and it keeps the door lock barrel in place

cj1
Hi, this is like mentioned above a piece of the lock carrier!I've had mine fall out literally yesterday when changing the door lock! Nightmare to fit back in, easier removing the carrier from the door to do it as well! In the end I got a new carrier, didn't have the patience
