Ok since i written a few things about varoius issues on my Little car i sense theres a disturbence in the force. its a 2001 1.4 "AUA" Ok first of since i got the car there have been 3 things from the start. 1: The passenger window didnt work though it clicked when pressing the button. 2: There was some liquid dropped on the windowbuttons on the driver side making it fused and burned. 3: A weird fault where the lights of the Engine and the EPC (i Think its that name) symbols show. Sometimes more frequent and sometimes less frequent. i managed to check it for codes and got this "P0106: Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem P013A: Unknown code" and i got a airbag fault too wich i erased and it didnt come back. Starting with the number 2 issue i removed the parts wich where melted and replaced it and it worked on the drivers side again. (also it made a flickering on the dashboard and a very hot dashboard lighdimmerswitch disappear go away suggesting it was getting faulty Power). The 1st issue i solved by starting to take the hole door apart to getr to the Electric window parts. But when i removed half of it and tried it, it came to live once more. But now a few month later its stuck again. And when it worked it didnt act ok. When window came down it was ok. But on the way up it stopped in the middle and Went down again, and the it could be closed after that. The 3rd thing. I cleaned the Engine and the piping to the umm air manifold? (i dont know the English Word for it). Well there was a lot of yellow gunk in there, and i cleaned it up and thought that might do the trick. And surely the lights didnt show its ugly shine for a while. But then they came back. A few times (Before the cleansing) the car started with the lights and where like only drivable at 30kmph. But a restart made that go away. And now we have more stuff. The button for recirculating the air or something (long button with a circle Arrow) stopped working more often than working. The seats heating stopped working on drivers side and i havnt got it going again. And a week ago the reverse lighting stopped working and after a few Days it magically started to work again. No fuses are blown. And one more thing. The error codes i got the first time didnt come easy. but after a few tries it worked. But that was a friend doing it. After that i got myself a Cable and program to check it myself. and thats the way i erased the airbag fault. BUT it refuses to read Engine codes no matter how hard i try! Only other thing i changed is a pair of ABS sensors and that went well. lights came up showing error. And lights Went of when fixed. One more thing is that the brakepedal feels weird, like if there where air in the system. pushing up and down a bit and the car shakes a bit. But that also do not happen everytime Reason for bringing up ALL the things is that i cant let go of the feeling that there might be a Connection between all these things. Please advice me

A Little follow up and Q. I followed your guide and it was great. I didnt remove the hole thing because it got operational once i loosened it up and removed the outer clip. So now its working, though its a bit sluggish the last half on the way up. BUT when i going from low to high it stops half way up and reverse down again, and stops right Before bottom and then when i take it up again it stops half way up and i have to push it again. And the window that worked Before goes down on one push and this one does not. (passenger door). i tried your reset thing but it doesnt seem to work. One thing that might explain it would be that the driver side part with 2 buttons burned and melted some time ago and i replaced one of the buttons. Problem was that i couldnt see where the Cables was suppose to go because it was burned. However it was not on the button leading to the passenger side window but the driver window, and i got that working. Anyway any idea? Thanx again for the awsome guide

Most excellent guide! And i now see why the so called "clips" might be the thing stuck. (saw some talk of this being the fault). BUT i Think you should have a final Point to your guide: If things got totally to hell, use a X.X inch board to hold the window haha. That is what will use if i cant get it to work and need new parts or suck =)

Tried to butter it upp by inserting a ton of 5-56. well that didnt do any good. i guess i have to remove the stuff. But im a Little concerned. Feels like it is a pain in the ass to get all the parts back together. Anyone know of any good "how to" page or so? is it possible to ge he window down a bit so i can get a better view of things?

hmm i have to check that. the window motor got very hot when trying the button 500 times anyway.

Hi Im trying to search for a good answer here but cant find. My passenger side window is stuck. it clicks on both up and down but does nothing. I saw something in the forum about clips that could be broken or to grease parts to get it moving again. But when i removed all the stuff and peek inside i dont know where to start. So if anyone have good explaination or so i would be gratefull.

crap. expensive then. Better on my old car. only 2, one front, one back opposite each other

Hi Im trying to find the Crankhouse Ventilation/breather/housing. I dont know the correct name for it. Im cleaning up a lot of yellowish gunk here and there, and i was told that i should check the above part. but i cant really find the Little devil. Its a 2001 modell 1.4l AUA Engine. Would be very happy to see a schematic or Picture or something =)

Haha yes i know Everything is removable, BUT i like to remove them without damaging the =P Yeah i mean heater Controls. Ok ill try that. Yeah Acetone was i bit strong. If i know how to remove Everything i can perhaps find replacement at the scrapyard. New parts can in some cases be ridiculously expensive. And sometimes suprisingly cheap.

Hi Before i got my Lupo it got raped by a mad interior painter. He did the crappiest paint job ever on some parts. He painted all the knobs to the climat, the knob to the light, the ashtray, the cupholder and the drawer next to it. So i want to get rid of it. the innerpart of the ashtray jst peeled off. and i Think i can remove the cup-holder. The light knob can be removed to. But the Knobs to the climat and the "door" to the ashtray i dont know if they are removable. Are they? I want to try and remove the paint, but i dont know what solution to use. I tried a paint solution wich i dont know the English name. But it didnt do nothing. Then i tried Acetone, and it worked, but it also took the plastic color with it. any suggestions? And if i cant get it cleaned up in a nice fashion ill replace it, buuut the there was the problem of removing the knobs and such

I´ll have to gice it a go then =) though the stinky look lump is a damn shitty thing. cant get the peices together properly.
