jessperkins17
right guys,I don't know if a problem occurred but today I've drove over 100 miles (whoops) lol but from the whole way home about an hour and a half of driving the temperature never reached the optimum 90 where it normally sits, it reached 80 and then it would go to 85 then drop again to 80 then it would drop below that and then rise to 80 again ?!what would make this happen?im sure it's not normal as it hasnt happened before! Defcon5
Either thermostat isn't working properly or the temp sensor is broken. You can get both changed for about £50 so you may as well do that - you will bet better mpg too so it will pay for itself!

Rich
Remember to change the thermostat housing as sometimes the plastic pin inside breaks, do the whole thing once so do it properly.Get some sexy g13 and flush the coolant system out, bang the expansion tank through a dishwasher and you're sorted. Defcon5
Not unless it's causing it to over fuel by some margin that will cause you to fail the HC emissions test
