Ok I don't have a manual, so stupid question time  (looking for an original manual pack, so if u have one for 2001 model please contact me).

Whilst checking wiring etc for a tailgate fault I noticed a button in the passenger footwell on the side pocket.

Can anyone tell me What the button is for please? Looks alarm related

thanks

Don't usually get them there the button for the sensors is usually just at the side of the drivers seat on the pillar iirc what happens when you press it and what does it look like, upload a pic if you can.

According to GTIChris

The little button turns off the internal sensors to allow you to leave your dog in the car for instance and still alarm it.
